I wake up. I smell something disgusting, I have no clue what it is though. "Where am I?" I thought to myself. I don't remember anything. My last memory was when I was on my way to Eugene's house. I can't see anything, it is so dark and I'm dizzy. I try to get up but I can't. I'm glued to something. I start to panic and I use all my strength to try to get up, but I can't. I'm glued to what feels like a coffee table. "Someone help me.." I try to yell that but all it comes out as is a faint mutter. My voice is so hoarse.
A young guy approaches me and shines a light on himself so that I can see him in this dark room. He looks like hes in his mid twenties. His hair is a light brown color, it's the same color as my hair. He had deep brown eyes, as if everything I need to know about him is in his eyes. He's very tall, unlike me, I'm only 5'1 so he looks like he about 6'0. He then smiles at me and all of a sudden everything comes back to me. I came here because I was looking to clean his house and then he grabbed me and injected me with something.
I feel every part of me tense up as soon as it all comes back. "Good morning sleepy head" Eugene says with a smirk. I don't say anything back. He frowns at me. "Well it looks like someone is cranky today." I feel like I'm about to cry again, I would rather be walking to school in the freezing cold while the rich kids drive by in there fancy cars and honk at me and laugh. "Since your cranky maybe some television would cheer you up!" He presses a button on my back and Then I feel a sharp pain in my back. I then realize what he has done. He made me into a human remote. I don't know how or why but somehow I am now what he used to control his television. When the television turns on I am able to see the rest of the room from the light of the television. Except.. it wasn't a television. There was a stage and when he pressed that button on my back it activated that light.
He presses a button on my back again. I wince at the sharp pain I feel again. A few seconds later these other people come out onto the stage and begin acting something out. This must be his form of watching television. He uses people for it.
I then begin to wonder what else he uses people for. Eugene then gets up so he presses the pause button. The pause button was a stronger pain than the rest. The moment he pressed that the actors had to pause where they were until he came back. When he leaves the room I look over at them and ask if they can explain to me what is happening. But based on the look in their eyes I can tell that they aren't allowed to move at all or something bad will happen.
Eugene then walks back in and presses the pause button again so the people continue where they were. I hope I eventually get used to the pain in my back.
