We bring William home, he sleeps the whole way there.

"He is so beautiful, just like his mother", I say.

"Although he looks just like his father", Diane says with a little smile.

"He has your eyes, though", I say.

"And your nose", Diane says.

When we get home, William is sleeping in Diane's arms and we take him to the nursery and put him down for a nap.

We watch our son sleep for a while before we leave the nursery for the kitchen. In the kitchen, our housekeeper is baking bread and cooking.

"That looks wonderful, what are we having?" I ask.

"Chicken soup, sir, with fresh baked garlic bread on the side", mrs Adams says.

"Yum", Diane says.

"Yeah, I figured you would need some real food to get your strength back after childbirth, mrs Harlon, you still look a little pale, if I may say so", mrs Adams says.

"Thank you, mrs Adams", Diane says.
