The first night at home with baby William goes well, we have him between us in bed, he sleeps through the whole night and wakes early the next morning.
"Ah, how wonderful, did you sleep well, yeah, such a sweet little boy you are", Jacob says, picking up William and holding him to his chest.
"Da", William coos and lifts his hand to his father's face.
"Are you hungry, little William?" Jacob asks.
"Mm", William coos.
"Come here, let's get you some food", Jacob says and takes William with him to the kitchen.
When William has gotten his breakfast bottle, Jacob brings him back to the nursery to get the boy a new diaper.
Diane wakes up and goes looking for her husband and son.
"Ah, there you are, my boys, both my boys", Diane says, smiling at her husband and son.
"His first night has gone well", Jacob says.
"Wonderful", Diane says.
