Kyle Pov:

The teacher demonstrated the dance choreography we were supposed to perform on the ice with our assigned partner. "This is going to be awkward," I thought to myself, noticing how touchy the routine required us to be. "Why couldn't I be paired with a hot girl?" I grumbled internally.

I turned to Philbert, hoping to break the tension between us with some casual conversation. "So, should we get started?" I asked, and he simply nodded awkwardly in response.

For the first step, we stood facing each other with a small distance between us. Then, we glided five steps toward each other on the ice. For the next step, I had to take Philbert's hand, which felt a bit awkward. I glanced at him, feeling the tension, before finally taking his hand in mine. As we glided forward together, I could see the embarrassment on his face, reflecting my own feelings about the situation.

Philbert Pov:

I couldn't help but blush when I saw the dance choreography we had to perform. I was paired with Kyle, the guy I have a crush on. The mix of nerves and excitement was overwhelming. It felt like a perfect opportunity to be close to him without him suspecting anything.

I followed the steps, and my nerves only grew when he held my hand in his, causing my heart to race even more. I could tell he was feeling embarrassed too, but not because he had a crush on me like I do on him, it was more about the awkwardness of the moment. Still, Kyle managed to keep a straight face while I was a blushing mess.

After we glided five steps, just as the choreography instructed, Kyle twirled me to the right. It made me feel both embarrassed and excited. When he turned to face me again, I gave him an awkward smile. He chuckled lightly and said, "We're doing a great job, aren't we?" I nodded in agreement, unable to find the words to respond. Since we had been at this school for a while, we had taken ice skating classes every year, which is why we were both pretty good at it.

Once we faced each other again, we had to slide five steps backward while holding hands. I found it hard to concentrate, my mind racing with thoughts about how soft his hand felt and how small it was compared to mine. As we turned to face each other again, I had to place my hand on his waist, which sent butterflies fluttering in my stomach, and then I had to pull him toward me. I could see that Kyle looked just as embarrassed as I felt. Yet, at the same time, I was thrilled and happy to hold him like this. After pulling his smaller frame against mine, we had to twirl together. His body felt so warm against mine, and I couldn't help but wish that this moment would last forever.

For the final step, I had to let go of him, instantly missing the warmth and the feeling of his body against mine. Reluctantly, I released my grip and faced Kyle again. Seeing his embarrassed expression made my heart flutter. "He looks so cute when he's embarrassed," I thought as I looked at him. The final spin marked the end of the choreography. I took his hand in mine, and Kyle spun outward while I stood in place, admiring how handsome he looked. Once he finished, we struck a pose together, each expressing ourselves however we liked.

Once we finished, I glanced at him, my cheeks flushing with shyness. "I can't believe that just happened," I thought excitedly to myself. Kyle was the first to break the silence, saying, "We were really good!" His enthusiasm was infectious. "We still need to work on some steps,, but overall, we did great," he added, acknowledging the shaky movements we still needed to work on.

"Yeah, but I believe in us," I replied, my voice trembling slightly as I tried to mask my embarrassment.

After that, we were given the signal to leave.
