Kyle Pov:
As always, new students joined our class after the summer holiday. I couldn't help but think, "Man, no hot girls," when I saw the new faces. I had just broken up with my girlfriend over the holidays and was hoping to find someone new to distract myself. But then I reminded myself, "Whatever, I should focus on school anyway," as I tried to pay attention in class. Luckily, I was good at school, so I wasn't really struggling. Plus, the teachers loved me, so they wouldn't mind if I zoned out a bit.
At the end of the school day, our whole class had to attend ice skating class, just like every other day. I'm not a huge fan of ice skating class, but since I'm good at it, it's not too bad after all.
While I was on the ice with my classmates, our teacher began pairing us up for ice skating. Everyone needed a partner, and I found myself hoping to be paired with a hot girl. Unfortunately, I ended up with a guy, Philbert. I've known him for a long time since we've always been in the same class, but we weren't really close. Still, I liked him as a classmate.
Once everyone was paired up, I skated over to Philbert and said, "Hey, dude. What's up?", to break the awkward silence. He looked a bit nervous but replied casually, "Not much." I didn't think much of it and started chatting with him about the ice skating lesson, trying to ease the tension between us.
Philbert Pov:
When I heard the teacher announce that I was paired up with Kyle, my heart started racing. I've known him for years, but over time, I've developed feelings for him.
I'm not out yet, but I have a feeling that everyone suspects I'm gay. I usually hang out with girls at school and have very few male friends, which probably makes it pretty obvious. Honestly, I don't mind, if I did, I wouldn't make it so obvious.
When Kyle approached me, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I tried to play it cool so he wouldn't think anything was up. Then I heard his cute voice asking, "Hey, what's up?" Despite my nervous feelings, I managed to respond casually, "Not much." Fortunately, he's quite talkative, which helped ease the awkward tension between us.
