Enid's pov:

Finally I could hear my alarm and when I got up to turn it off it was early 6:40 I looked over Wednesday's side but as usual she already left. I stood up from my bed and I went straight to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

While I'm doing my eyeliner I hear my phone buzzes but I look over my desk and it wasn't there so I called out Things to help me find it but he left with Wednesday this morning. 'no way the first day of classes and I'm the first one to get there late' I thought.

I regret my whole life for not putting any sound on the phone whenever it gets a notification. The second buzz refreshed my mind, and I finally found it under my pillow, I switched on the screen and it appeared 'Yokis' with two unread messages.

*Girrllll I'm waiting for uu, wake up cub*

*Bro you're gonna be late, I'm in the quad*

I quickly responded.

*sry, omw already!* I'm not even dressed up.

It's 7:15 and I'm running through the stairs with my backpack on one shoulder, and my purple jacket is messed up.

"were you on your way from Japan?" Yoko teased.

"sorryyyy, I swear I don't know why I'm always late"

"come on girl we're gonna be late if you don't move" Yoko said while walking quickly through the hallway where I followed her at the same speed.

"what's our first hour?"

"biology"

We finally arrived at the class and nothing really changed from last semester but that wasn't my first thing that came to mind I was only worried if the teacher had arrived yet, but they hadn't, so I sat in the second row behind Wednesday and... wait.

Xavier isn't here yet or isn't he coming for the whole year?

"I know what you're thinking and no, Xavier isn't coming this semester" Yoko half whispered to me.

"how do you know?" i say, still looking at the empty footstool.

"I heard some rumors that Mrs bella Weems has suspended him"

"why?" I asked facing Yoko.

"no idea"

Before I could say anything else, someone that I can't recognize walks in.
