One | COMIC CORE...
Chapter One

Comic Core, the hotspot for all of the latest and most popular comics to ever exist — and I was lucky enough to be able to work there alongside my best friend, Lee Heeseung. We worked almost everyday of the week apart from; Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Today, it was Tuesday and currently my time of work.

"How do you know she's coming in today?" Heeseung frantically asked, pushing his black reading glasses higher up on the bridge of his nose as we both stood behind the painted red counter. "Like- I mean- like, did she directly say that to you herself?" He rambled.

Lee Heeseung, a seventeen year old boy with an intense crush on Park Sungho's twin sister, Park Hana. His burning love for her had begun a little over two months ago and ever since then, she's all he has talked about.

I let out a fed up sigh and bent down to pick up the box of the comics that had been shipped in earlier on in the day. "Yes. She told me directly herself during math." I responded with a fake and forced smile. "Now, go take these out to the back." I bossily ordered and dumped the heavy box into the older males arms.

The cherry haired boys lips slightly parted as his shoulders sunk to the floor. "But what if she comes in when I'm putting these into the restock cupboard?" He faintly whined and continue to complain on his way into the store room.

I giggled to myself and sat down in the black spinny chair whilst kicking my legs up on the desktop. My head turned to look into the direction of the shop door, where the bell had been set off indicating upon a customers arrival.

"Hello, Hana!" I cheerfully spoke out, wanting nothing more than to burst out laughing at Heeseung's unfortunateness.

The Park girls face caught me in awe. She was so effortlessly beautiful, her pale skin glowed under the sunny sky. Her long rich brown hair stayed a healthy glossy texture and the beauty of her smile was powerful enough to make any man fall in love at first sight.

The femininity of her face made me want to pull the baseball cap I was wearing further down in hopes of hiding my less feminine features.

"Hey, Kyungmi," She slightly waved and flashed her usual elegant smile. "Did you save it?" Her question caused my eyebrows to furry before remembering my annual promise to her and her brother.

I nodded my head and sat up right in my chair, "Heeseung, can you get me the comic saved up Park Hana!" I called out, hearing a mutter of a 'yes' and a whole lot of rummaging around in return. "Did you hear about the school wanting to do their very own newspaper?" I wondered, wanting to fill up the silence with any sort of conversation.
