Nervousness & Frickin' Simon Cowell

**THE NEXT DAY**

My heart was racing in my chest which was going up and down as I was breathing heavily. My whole body was shaking like I was some sort of retarded chiuaua in a cold snowstorm on the north pole.

Yes, you could say I was kind of nervous. Okay, I admit it, I’m really, really nervous. But what do you want? I have to do a live changing audition. If I screw up my dream still hasn’t turned real.

Summarized, I’m shaking like a retarded chiuaua in a snowstorm on the north pole while sitting in the backseat of my mom’s old car crushing my poor brother’s hand, he said I could hold it, don’t blame me, and I’m on my way to my audition for One Direction’s tv show “Turning Real”.

So, I just found out yesterday the audition has been moved to today. Luckily, my mom was free and could bring me and Dillen to the audition. Now I’m just getting more nervous every minute and I really start feeling sorry for Dillen’s hand.

Yesterday afternoon after I heard I had to audition today, instead of a few months later, I practised and practised and practised. Tye and Ming stayed the night and helped me out. They corrected every little mistake and looked for every little detail that could be better. Geez, if I get home tonight I really have to thank them, I’ll buy some chocolate or something.

‘You okay, Dawn?’ my mom asked from the driversseat taking a quick glance in the back mirror. I could see Dillen was looking at her sarcasticly.

‘Yeah sure, she’s totally fine! She just has to do some stupid audition today, no reason to be not okay, is there?’ Dillen said in a sassy tone.

I jabbed with my elbow in his stomach and gave him a look. He looked at me innocently, yeah like he didn’t know what I meant, sure.

‘Hey, don’t give me that sassy tone, lady!’ my mom responded to Dillen with a smirk on her face. Dillen’s eyes shot back to my mom’s reflection in the mirror and looked angry. He looked just like a little kid who didn’t get the candy he wanted, awe, poor boy. NOT. My mom just stuck her tongue out in the mirror as a response.

‘Guys, just stop right now.’ I said as I saw that Dillen was opening his mouth to say something, something sassy probably. Dillen shut his mouth and started looking outside.

That’s how the ride went on, in silence. The only sound coming from the car on the road and a radio which was blasting through the windows of another car driving next to us on the highway. I knew that at the end of that highway my moment would come. That long grey with loads of cars would lead to something good, or something bad. And it all depends on me and a lot of girls.

On one hand I was glad when we arrived at our destiny, on the other hand it made me even more nervous. I was seriously shaking like an electric toothbrush, that’s even worse than a chiuaua.
