The bar before we knew the full story

Chapter 1

Lucy's pov:
I am sitting at the bar, drinking a few drinks but not too many because I don't want a headache tomorrow. I start my new job tomorrow. I am looking around until I meet eyes with this handsome guy. He has blue eyes, brown/blonde hair buzzcut, and he is wearing a shirt and some jeans. We meet eyes and he starts to walk over to me.
T-"Hey, you're really pretty. Can I buy you a drink?"
L-"I mean sure." He smiles at me and I get the drink. We talk for a while and it gets less awkward. He talks about his ex-wife and I tell him about my parents.
L-"Do you want to head back to my place?"
T-"Sure, why not?" We drive to my apartment and let's just say things get heated after that.
Next morning:
Lucy's pov: I wake up and I'm wrapped in this guys arms. Last night was so great I'm not so sure that this will just be a fling. I look up at him to see he is already staring at me.
T-"Goodmorning.." his voice trails off as we never told our names.
L-"Lucy!"
T-"Sorry, never got your name. Mine is Tim. Can I uh get your number?" I nod as I hand him my phone. We both don't have clothing on but he is such a gentleman that he doesn't look or anything. I wrap myself in a blanket and stand up.
L-"I'm gonna take a shower. I mean since last night happened, you want to join?"
T-"Oh yes!" We get into the shower.
T-"You're really beautiful!"
L-"You're handsome." He smiles at he helps me wash my hair.
L-"I start my new job today and I am so nervous I won't know anyone there."
T-"I'm sure you'll be great Lucy."
L-"Thanks Tim. Oooh you know what, I should call you Timothy or Timmy." I laugh a lot.
T-"Hmmm. You'll be Luce or lulu." I smile.
L-"Awww! Do you maybe want to go get dinner tomorrow?"
T-"Yes! I will pay."
L-"You don't have to."
T-"But I'm gonna." I smile and we both get out of the shower.
L-"Can you take me back to my car?"
T-"Yeah." We both get dressed as he has clothes in his truck that I ran out to get. We drive to get my car that was left at the bar last night.
L-"Thanks for the ride Tim."
T-"You're welcome, beautiful." He gives me a kiss and then I go to my car. He makes sure I'm in it before he leaves, and then he is gone. I get almost to work and my freaking car breaks down. I have to push it until I see a guy talking to me. (If I forget some of the lines don't come at me.)
M-"Hey mama, I might have to take that off your hands." I look at him with a raised eyebrow.
L-"You're gonna steal my car? The one that broke down two blocks ago?" He nods and shows me a gun.
M-"Might take you for a spin too." I look at him and then run at him, tackling him and then cuffing him. I make him help me push my car to the station and then I walk to the front desk with him.
L-"Lucy Chen, reporting for duty." The desk receptionist smiles and gets an officer to take him. Then I change and get to roll call.
