~Cup Of Tea~

Taehyung's frustration boiled over as he inserted the door code repeatedly, his hands trembling in irritation. The door finally clicked open, and he stormed inside, his eyes scanning the room for the one person who had triggered this anger. Mishti stood up nervously from her seat, her eyes wide with apprehension.

"What did you just do?" Taehyung's voice was harsh, and Mishti opened her mouth to respond, but he cut her off. "I told you, don't leave the house. Why did you step out?" His words were filled with frustration.

"And working in a café, why?" He threw his hands up in the air, the words tumbling out before he could control them. "What else is left to see? I'm already dealing with this unexpected marriage, and now you're making it harder for me, Mishti!" The weight of anger made his voice crack slightly.

Mishti's eyes widened, and for the first time in their marriage, Taehyung addressed her by her name.

"I... I can't stay caged in this house," she whispered, the tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "I just wanted to go out."

Taehyung's brow furrowed, his voice rising. "I told you it's not the right time to be doing this. Just wait a few months for the rumors to settle down," he snapped, his frustration becoming overwhelming.Mishti stood still, her chest tightening.

"Why can't you just understand? You're already messing with my mind, and now this?!". Completely taking her off guard.

"I was running out of savings," she muttered finally, her words carrying the weight of her fear and independence.

"Savings?" Taehyung was taken aback. "I don't understand."

Mishti nodded, hesitant to share the truth, but unable to keep it in.

"I saved some money, to fulfill my basic needs."

Taehyung ran a frustrated hand through his hair. He pulled out his wallet, retrieving a credit card and holding it out to her. "Take it," he said firmly.

"No, I can't," Mishti replied quickly, shaking her head. "I can't take your money, Taehyung. I'm not going to rely on you for that."

His patience wore thin. "I'm not lending you money. I’m giving it to you, because it's your right," he said with an unwavering authority in his voice. Mishti froze at the intensity of his words, her eyes locking with his.

"Don't make it more difficult for me," he muttered, his voice tired, and he looked away, running a hand over his face in frustration.

Mishti, sensing the tension, tried to lighten the atmosphere.

"Should I get you tea?" she asked, offering a small smile as she stood.

"Yes, please," Taehyung replied, his voice softer now, the weight of the conversation lingering in the air.

She chuckled, but the sound quickly faded when Taehyung’s sudden glare caught her off guard. "You scared me," she said, retreating to the kitchen.

"You scared me!" he shouted back, only half-joking, and he sank down onto the couch, pulling out his phone. A few minutes passed, and Mishti returned, placing the cups in front of him. Taehyung instinctively reached for his cup, only to flinch when the hot cup surface burned his hand. Mishti rushed over to him, grabbing his fingers gently.

(The handle is there for a reason)
"Sonjabi-ga itneun de-neun da iyuga isseoyo," she tutted  her voice soft yet reproachful as she blew on his hand to cool the burn.

Taehyung stared at her, his gaze focused entirely on her face, his thoughts momentarily lost.

"Your Korean is good," he complimented, still staring.

Mishti looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "I live in Korea," she chuckled, but quickly averted her gaze, flustered by the intensity of his stare. Taehyung cleared his throat, attempting to regain his composure.

"Yeah, but you're not from here, and still, you speak Korean better than some natives."

Mishti chuckled again, her fingers lightly brushing against her hair. "I've learned a lot living here, but I'm still not perfect."

A sudden silence fell between them

"What will you have for dinner?", she asked.

"Anything you want," he replied, a warm smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "I’ll take care of it." Then she got leaving to kitchen. He followed her.

"Do you want anything?", she asked taking glance of him.

"I'll help you", he replied hesitantly.

"Ani," she said, the word firm but kind. "I’ll do it myself. Thank you."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, a slight frown forming.

"You doubt my cooking skills?" he asked, his voice filled with playful judgment.

Mishti smiled, trying to keep her tone light. "I never said I doubt. I just haven't seen you cook yet. You’ve already hurt yourself today."

He scoffed at her response, his amusement showing. "If you think I'm clumsy, you should meet Namjoon-hyung. He's much clumsy than me when it comes to bring disasters in the kitchen."

Her curiosity piqued, Mishti turned to him. "Namjoon-hyung? Is he your band member?"

Taehyung nodded, a glint of curiosity in voice. "Yeah, he is. You don't know anything about BTS, do you?"

Mishti bit her lip, a smile tugging at her face. "Not much. I’ve only heard that you seven are exceptionally charming, handsome, and talented."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Who told you that?"

"Your fans. They come into the café all the time, talking about you. Some even joke about kidnapping you all," she whispered the last part, half-serious, half-laughing.

Taehyung let out a genuine laugh, shaking his head. "Really? That's adorable."

Mishti nodded. "They get a little... over-enthusiastic sometimes."

After a brief moment of silence, Mishti asked, "Should I make Japchae?"

Taehyung nodded, a warm smile on his face. "Sounds perfect."

As Mishti began gathering the ingredients, she called out, "Umm, Taehyung?"

"Ye?" he responded, looking up from his phone.

"We’re running low on soy sauce."

"I’ll get it from the store," he said, slipping off his apron and heading for the door.

Minutes later, he returned, out of breath from the cold, his hands rubbing together in an attempt to warm them."it's cold outside",
Mishti noticed and immediately handed him the shawl that was hanging in the corner of the kitchen.

"Here," she said, draping it around his shoulders. "It’ll warm you up instantly.", Taehyung looked at her, a mixture of shiver and something else in his gaze- the closeness
