~Heart-wrenching moment~

They all settled down, and she began serving them coffee, juice, and a delightful assortment of cookies.

"You don't have to do all this for us," Yoongi remarked awkwardly, casting a brief glance at Taehyung.

"Indians are known for their hospitality culture," Namjoon commented, accepting a cup of steaming coffee from her. She smiled warmly, nodding in agreement with his statement.

"Yes, they have a vibrant culture full of festivals," Seokjin added enthusiastically. She nestled beside Taehyung as the conversation continued to flow.

"I'll check if anything is needed," she whispered before getting up.

"It's fine; they are leaving already ," he replied, gripping her forearms gently. She turned back to him but hissed in pain. Realizing his grip was too tight, he loosened it and examined her arms, instantly standing up from his seat in concern.

"How did you get cut? Are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with worry as he rubbed his fingers over the spot he had just touched.

"I am fine; it's just a small cut," she reassured him, trying to ease the tension that had thickened in the air.

"What have you applied to this?" he asked, sniffing his hand curiously.

"Ahh... it's just turmeric paste," she explained, and he looked at her with a mix of disbelief and exasperation.

"No, not those desi hacks again," he tutted, eliciting a chuckle from her.

"It just provides instant relief from pain and helps heal the wound," she replied confidently.

"Which part of India do you live in, Mishti?" Namjoon quipped, throwing sarcasm into the mix.

"Hyung!" she cried, while the others enjoyed teasing her.

"This is what you call medical science," she shot back. The group finally conceded defeat to the youngest among them.

"Guys," Hoseok suddenly called out, his tone shocked as he stared at his phone. He quickly showed it to the others while Taehyung pulled out his phone to check the news himself. Jimin hurriedly turned on the television. The headlines flashed ominously in front of them.

THIS MORNING, AN UNKNOWN PERSON INTRUDED ON KIM TAEHYUNG'S PENTHOUSE AND CREATED CHAOS. FANS ARE UPSET ABOUT THIS INCIDENT AND DEMANDING ANSWERS FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND THE ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY.

FROM SOURCES, IT WAS REVEALED THAT HE TRIED TO HARM KIM TAEHYUNG WHILE HE WAS INSIDE. THE POLICE HAVE TAKEN CONTROL OF THE SITUATION.

The group turned to her, shock and terror playing out on their faces simultaneously.

"How did you get this wound, Mishti?" he asked again, firmer now, his brow furrowed with concern. Seokjin placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, urging him to be gentle, but she grew even more anxious under his intense gaze, nibbling nervously on her lips.

"Stop doing that! And answer me!" he shouted, causing her to flinch.

"Taehyung, calm down," Namjoon attempted to ease the mounting tension.

"How am I supposed to do that, hyung? She got attacked by someone and didn’t even care to tell me?" He shot back, his voice insistent.

"I’m sure it was a sasaeng  who came to check the rumors about your marriage," Hoseok surmised.

"She was scared to tell you, Taehyung. Just calm down," Yoongi added, noticing Mishti's teary eyes as they glimmered with distress. Taehyung ran his hands through his hair in frustration.

"What am I supposed to do now?" he exhaled sharply, feeling overwhelmed.

Minutes turned into hours as they all lay on the sofa, mulling over the situation and discussing it with their manager over the phone, while she was resting alone in her room.

"This situation was meant to arise; you all are not small figures; you're global stars. People will raise questions, and your fans will demand answers," the manager stated sternly.

"Is there any solution for this?" Namjoon asked, sitting up straight.

"How am I supposed to answer that? Taehyung needs to figure out this problem; it falls on him," he replied. Their gazes drifted toward Taehyung, who remained silent, lost in thought.

"I will divorce her," he announced suddenly, shocking everyone in the room.

"Good decision; this is not the right time for marriage or other distractions. Focus on your fans and your work," the manager replied before abruptly hanging up.

"What did you say, Taehyung?" Jimin exclaimed, disbelief etched across his face.

"This is not how it works," the others chimed in, echoing Namjoon's sentiment.

"Don't rush, Taehyung; think about it carefully. She doesn’t have anyone in this country; her parents are dead, and she has no relatives. We don’t even know if anyone in India cares about her," Yoongi reminded him gently.

"We understand, Taehyung; it’s hard, and you are understandably terrified by this incident. But doing this won't mitigate the problems," Seokjin argued.

"What am I supposed to do then? The marriage was not my choice—my parents felt pity for the cafe owner's daughter and asked me to marry her because she has lost everything. I understand their kindness, but marrying me won’t help her in any way. Neither of us is suited for this marriage. How are we supposed to make it work? What should I worry about more: my fans, my career, my wife, or her life? They are all at stake, and divorce seems like the only solution," he concluded, his voice heavy with resignation.
