"Wait!!! Don't forget you promised to take Christian with you on your journey! I gave him a Pokémon last week and I think he wants to help you in your battles." Dad yelled as I was about to go home to get my stuff.
I totally forgot! Christian got a Tutwig last week. I had gone with him to get it and helped him choose a Pokémon. He wanted me to come along to tell him secretly which Pokémon wants to go with him.
He knew I could talk to Pokémon when he was 'attacked' by a bunch of Chatots, my favorite bird type Pokémon. He was dancing and the Chatots wanted to join in. He ran to me and I told the lead Chatot that they were scaring my brother and that if they could not hurt him while dancing they could continue. So you get the picture.
He asked me if I could point to the one who liked him and tell them I am not the one who is choosing. I heard the Turtwig say that she liked Christian because she could sense that he would love her and be her friend. He could understand a little of what she said because he asked me to teach him how to talk to Pokémon. Now he can talk to them and understand them like I can.
I walked in the front door of my house and asked my mom where Christian was. "He's in his room, playing with Turtwig."
"Thanks, mom," I said as I walk upstairs to go to his room. I open the door to see my brother playing tag with his Turtwig. He is 14, but he's taller than me, which is not fair. He has short brown hair and brown eyes like me. He usually wears a red shirt with the same type of pants as me and red shoes. He also usually ties his black jacket around his waist.
"Chandra!!!! Did you get a Pokémon who's type has an advantage over mine? Or were you too late to get one?" My brother said when I walked into his room. I answered his questions with "Do you want to see it in my hidden grotto?"
"Uh, chia. You know I want to!!!! Come on Turtwig. You want to see a new friend?" He said as we went out the door. Now for Christian's big surprise!
