The cameras rolled for the newest episode of SKZ Code, and Minho had a mischievous plan in mind. He'd always found it amusing how fans lovingly called him the "mom" of the group and Chan the "dad." Today, he decided he'd embrace the title in its full glory—complete with all the sass, care, and occasional scolding a true "mom" could provide.
The day's mission was a cooking competition. Split into two teams, the members were tasked with creating a meal judged by none other than Minho and Chan.
Before the teams began, Minho clapped his hands together. "Listen up, kids," he announced, mimicking a stern yet loving tone. "Mom and Dad are watching, so no fooling around, okay?"
Seungmin raised an eyebrow. "Mom?"
"Yeah, Mom," Minho replied, smirking. "And as your mom, I demand respect."
Felix giggled. "Does that make Chan hyung Dad?"
Chan, standing off to the side, blinked in surprise. "Wait, how did I—"
"Don't fight it," Minho cut in, throwing an arm around Chan's shoulders. "Just go with it, hubby."
Chan's ears turned pink, and the rest of the group burst into laughter.
As the competition began, Minho fully stepped into his role. He walked around the kitchen stations like a hawk, inspecting everyone's work.
"Hyunjin, are you seriously putting that in the soup?" Minho asked, hands on his hips.
Hyunjin pouted. "But it's my secret ingredient!"
"No," Minho said firmly, removing the bottle from Hyunjin's hand. "We're not poisoning anyone today."
Meanwhile, Jisung was trying to sneak extra snacks into his apron pocket. Minho caught him immediately. "Han Jisung, put that back. You'll ruin your appetite."
Jisung groaned but obeyed.
In between scolding the "kids," Minho turned his attention to Chan, who looked overwhelmed trying to juggle the timer and organizing the chaos.
"Chan, you need to hydrate," Minho said, shoving a water bottle into his hand.
"I'm fine, Minho," Chan replied, though he took a sip anyway.
Minho wasn't convinced. He grabbed a towel and dabbed at Chan's forehead. "Seriously, you're working harder than everyone here. Let me take care of it."
Chan chuckled, the corners of his eyes crinkling. "You're really getting into this mom thing, huh?"
"Shh," Minho replied, pressing a finger to Chan's lips. "Just let me spoil you."
Chan blinked, flustered, and Minho smirked triumphantly.
When it was time to judge, Minho stood beside Chan, arms crossed. The teams presented their dishes with dramatic flair, but Minho didn't hold back on his critiques.
"This rice is undercooked," he told Seungmin bluntly. "Do you want your teeth to break?"
"And this salad..." he looked at Hyunjin, then back at the plate. "You tried. That's all I can say."
By the end of the competition, the "mom and dad" dynamic was in full swing, with Minho playing the strict but caring parent while Chan tried to mediate with his usual warmth.
When the episode aired, fans couldn't get enough of Minho's dedicated "mom" performance:
"Minho taking his role as SKZ's mom seriously is everything.""Mom Minho taking care of Dad Chan??? I'M SCREAMING.""The way Minho fussed over Chan had me in shambles. THEY'RE MARRIED."
