Born George Herman Ruth Jr. on February 6th, 1895 in Baltimore, the young man, later known as Babe Ruth, was often in trouble.

Skipping school, shoplifting, and drinking from a young age when his father wasn't looking, it seemed this would be his whole life.

One day, on a cold winter day blanketed in snow, he was walking to the store with some money he saved up by working as a shirt maker, he had planned to buy himself a treat, but life had other plans for him.

George walked into the store with his money in hand, he grabbed a lot of treats and was about to check out with the store clerk when he saw a family outside, all freezing and huddling up, they were only skin and bone.

George was tested in that moment, so, he made the decision he felt would be best, he put the stuff he chose back and picked up multiple cans of soup, a hot cut of beef, multiple cups of coffee and tea, and a few blankets.

The entire thing cost multiple pay checks, yet he didn't care, George walked out into the cold night, snow everywhere, he slowly walked towards the family.

George: excuse me, I saw you four freezing out here, so, I thought you four deserved this more than I do.

The father seemed skeptical at first before nodding, George gave a cup of coffee to the mother and father and tea to the two kids, all four drinks warm.

George sat with the family, watching them smile and laugh, enjoying the hot food and drinks, the sight warmed his heart, knowing he gave them hope, his heart swelled with pride.

From that point on, George vowed to help people in need, especially those who needed things he had and didn't need.

In early 1914, George signed up a professional baseball contract with the owner of Minor-League team Baltimore Orioles, Jack Dunn.

George knew nothing about baseball, but it was the best way he could think of to earn enough money to help as many people he could.

Little did George know, becoming a Baseball Player would be change his life as he knew it, many things would change, his name, how he helped people, and he saw himself.

Once he had found out his skills of baseball were far superior to his teammates, he was praised by everyone and was given the name, Babe Ruth.

Throughout his life, Babe Ruth gave everything he tried his all, earning his number and title as The King of The Hall of Fame.

However, the entire time, he felt like he was undeserving of his natural talents, he believed many others he surpassed who tried and trained to become better deserved what he got.

Coming off as over confident, arrogant, and self absorbed ass who deserved a punch to the jaw on the outside, Babe Ruth truly desired to help everyone he could.

Throughout the Great Depression, Babe Ruth created a legacy, if one is born with strength, with gifts others don't have, then to use it to help others who are less fortunate.

On the day of his death, August 16th, 1948, Babe Ruth left this world knowing that he was able to bring hope to everyone.

While he wasn't able to heal the world and halt all the problems happening, he felt proud of what he was able to accomplish in his life.

The Underworld

Babe Ruth found himself in the underworld, he spent so long searching for something's by he couldn't remember.

It was as Babe Ruth was thinking to himself when he heard a voice, it sent chills down his spine, it seemed like death itself was behind him.

???: hey... you aren't supposed to be here, you're supposed to be in Valhalla... not the land of sinners.
