The crows screech, It’s time to get up. I go to the bathroom, wash my face, brush my fangs, then start getting dressed. I put on the same corset from yesterday and put on a skirt, still black and dark red of course. I do my make up and put on my heels, then I go downstairs where my mother is waiting for me.
“Ready?” My mother asks, I nod, still a little tired. We leave and walk down the street, ralliers are in the street screaming for justice and protection. Me and my mother comfort the people that we are safe and that we need to stick together through the violence. After an hour, there's so many people that my mother and I decided to split up. She goes a different way and I continue on the route we’ve been on. All of a sudden, I see a familiar face, familiar eyes. He was sitting on the sidewalk watching all of the chaos. We lock eyes, I catch my smiling at him, blushing even. A pale young man with pretty teal eyes and bleached blonde hair, but my heart drops when I notice his colors. Red and blue, he was a Barron. But my heart drops even lower when I hear a woman's gut wrenching scream. Me and others, including my stalker, ran over to where the scream was. As we run I think we all knew why there was a scream, the humans were here. We make it to the scene and low and behold, people are surrounding a woman's dead body. As I got closer I realized that it wasn't just any woman. I kneel down face to face with the corpse. My mother died.
