Joe barely managed to keep his eyes open as he trudged back into the apartment. He threw a tired wave in Tong's direction before retreating into his room, eager to collapse into his bed.

The past few days had been a whirlwind of studies and paranoia, and he desperately needed some rest.

Tong was still buzzing with energy from their dinner. He strolled into his room, whistling a cheerful tune. He didn't notice the dark figure lurking in the shadows until it was too late.

"Where the hell have you been?" Mark hissed, appearing right in front of Tong's face with a speed that made Tong jump back in shock.

"Jesus, Mark! Give a guy a heart attack, why don't you?" Tong grumbled, clutching his chest. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Mark's eyes were dark and intense, a clear sign of his hunger. "I need to feed. Now."

Tong sighed, used to Mark's dramatic flair by now. "Fine, but can we keep it to a minimum? I don't want Joe thinking I'm running a blood bank in here."

Before Tong could say another word, Mark pounced. His lips crashed into Tong's with a hunger that caught Tong off guard. Tong's protest turned into a muffled grunt as Mark's fangs grazed his tongue.

"Ow! What the fuck, Mark?" Tong tried to pull back, but Mark's grip was firm. The vampire seemed to realize his mistake and quickly adjusted his bite, but not before making the whole situation look like a scene from a passionate romance movie.

Tong's eyes widened as he felt Mark's tongue slip against his, the bite turning into something that felt suspiciously like a deep kiss. Tong could barely register the pain through the flood of other sensations—warmth, tingling, and the peculiar intimacy of the moment.

"Are you seriously biting my tongue?" Tong managed to mumble against Mark's mouth, his voice half-amused and half-annoyed.

Mark pulled back slightly, his eyes glittering with mischief. "Sorry. Hungry and a little disoriented."

"Disoriented, my ass," Tong muttered, wiping his mouth. "Next time, aim better."

Mark smirked. "I'll try, but I must admit, your reaction was quite... amusing."

Tong rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Just finish up and let me get some sleep. Unlike you, I need it."

Mark obliged, this time biting down more accurately on Tong's lips and feeding with a focused intensity. Tong found himself relaxing, the initial shock giving way to a strange sense of comfort.

As Mark finished feeding, he licked Tong's lips to heal the wounds, much to Tong's chagrin. "You really have a thing for licking, don't you?"

"It's efficient," Mark said with a wink, stepping back and letting Tong catch his breath.

"Whatever, man. Just... try not to give me a heart attack next time, okay?" Tong grumbled, heading for his bed.

Mark chuckled, his hunger sated for now. "No promises."

Tong collapsed onto his bed, shaking his head. "Life was so much simpler before I woke you up."

"But much less interesting," Mark replied, lounging on the edge of Tong's bed.

Tong couldn't argue with that. Despite the craziness, there was something undeniably thrilling about having a vampire as a roommate. "Just try not to make out with me next time, okay? Joe might get the wrong idea."

Mark laughed softly. "Deal. Goodnight, Tong."

"Goodnight, Mark," Tong mumbled, already drifting off to sleep.

As Tong fell asleep, Mark watched over him, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.

Mark:

Don't leave me for too long, I'll go mad if I don't see you.

Can you give me more time to be with you?
