25. Past trauma

YUVIKA'S POV

The road back to home was as traumatic as karanveer's words. His words still haunted me like hell. I could remember everything that had happened in the past, the moenylenders, the past, the death threats and everything. Everything Karanveer said was right, because no body would keep a girl in their house whose father has a debt of nearly 50lakh, where out income is not even 50K. Thoughts of agastya Ji being angry and throwing me out of his house haunted me like hell. What if his family gets to know the truth and they actually tell me to leave the mansion, to leave Agastya ji?

"Yuvika?? yuvika??? Kuch toh bolo what did Karanveer said???? It's been an hour since we are back!!!" I could hear Agastyaji's words but didn't have the courage to answer him until he shook me out of my thoughts
"Agastya ji, woh Woh... Karan ne kaha ki....wahi... Regarding... Bussiness I mean.. He asked whether I'm.. I'm.... I have any shares in..your bussiness." I couldn't tell him the truth, he will be very upset but I'm sorry agastya ji.
"Oh, are you sure yuvika? Because you know how karan is." he caressed my cheeks and knelt infront of me, I hated to lie to him but I can't let my marriage end because of some silly mistake my dad did in past.
I smiled and hugged each other to sleep, but I couldn't sleep an ounce so I decided to sit in the balcony. There I rememberd everything that had happened in the past, in my family that except we six no one knows.

So in tension, I began to write in my diary as I always write everything whatever is there in my heart.

Dear diary,

Before Rashmi didi's marriage everything was fine, but then dad always seemed sad and in tension. We shifted from uttarakhand to Udaipur, seeing dad's mental health we were really sad and curious.
One evening a call came to us saying that he owned 40lakhs to someone, and hasn't paid yet. Since we moved for personal reasons, that people thought we ran away. Things changed from then, we had to sell our Lands and even our first owned house.
But that wasn't the end, we still got to know that he had more debts.

Everyday new debt collector used to come at home, I was only 18 when these happened, seeing my dad in stress, my mom unhappy.
Soon we thought things were being fine when we decided to get didi married. Both got married into good houses but still, many money lenders came in our house and threatened us.
One mistake of him made our life living hell, but being with agastya ji made me think that everything is fine now, but now that Karanverr knows everything I'm scared very scared.

I closed my diary, tears fell from my eyes, but I controlled myself and hid my diary in my wardrobe and went back to sleep.

AGASTYA'S POV

I could sense the restlessness of yuvika. It was 5 in the morning when I woke up and went to gym, even while doing exercise I couldn't stop thinking about yuvika, to stop thinking I decided to talk to her but she was nowhere to find.

"Yuvika! yuvika! Where are you??? yuvika!???" I shouted as hell but there was no reply, so I asked the maid and she said yuvika went to the hospital with Shreya bhabhi.

Even that made me worry because right beside the hospital is karanveer's casino, and I am sure he would be there today as its Saturday. I got ready asap and went to the hospital to pick up bhabhi and yuvika.

"Yuvika, why didn't you tell me you were going to the hospital I would've taken you both."
"Arey, you were in the gym so I thought why to disturb anyways, let's go bhabhi's checkup is done. " both looked fine so a sign of relief went through me.
I took them in the car and left for the mansion, where I got a call from shahin my bodyguard.

"Hello!"
"hello boss, Karanveer is here, he wants to meet you."
His name always boils the blood in my body
"OK, I'll come in 15 mins"

"Yuvika, bhabhi.. You both go I will leave for office." I dropped them off in the mansion
"Arey, you didn't even eat breakfast, Saloni told me"
"It's OK, I'll eat something in the office, you take care ok baby" I leaned for a kiss,
"Hawww, baccha close your eyes, tumhare chacha chachi Ko kissi de rhe hai." she chuckled and Yuvika's face blushed like hell
"Ha toh aur kya, jab yeh ayega toh Isko bhi Bhai behn chaiye hoga tb it will ask us only na, so it should be prepared already for this. And anyways you shouldn't disturb two newlyweds don't you know that bhabhi"
"Acha, so now you are blaming me and my unborn kid, just wait when yuvika gets pregnant, I won't let you touch her." before I could reply she left, and yuvika stood there blushing like a little kid. I smiled and pulled her closer to me and kissed her passionately. One thing I love about her is that she never pulls back while I kiss her, even though I leave her breathless. Of course that's my job. After a good long kiss, I left for office not knowing, that there was lipstick mark on my shirt, which technically was shining bright on my shirt.

In the office

"Good morn-" shahin stopped in between and began to smile but I ignored him

Then a few staff members wished me good morning in the same manner as Shahin and I wondered why, I shook my head and entered my office where Karanveer was waiting for me.

He stood and gave a big smile to me which was definitely not reciprocated by me.

"OK, I know agastya, that you are married and that too yuvika, but that doesn't mean you make me jealous." he smiled sheepishly

"what do you mean???"

"Ha? Don't you know goodness, look at your face and shirt in the mirror. Seems like red is Yuvika's favorite colour." I looked at the mirror beside and saw a big lipstick mark on my neck, cheek and shirt. I was embarrassed as Fuck because not only Karanveer but everyone in the office saw it.

"Well, now Tsk.. Forget it, it's my wife's love , see Karanveer she loves me alot" Karanveer clenched his jaws and looked away which kind of made me happy knowing that this is only for me and no one else. I blushed interiorly.

"OK, let's continue why did u come early in the morning?"

"The AR industries has joined it's hands with Koreans in the south, which mean KS industries is also joined with them. That means my company will also be established in South Korea right? "

"Yea, So you came to ask this? "

"No, these are the papers you need to sign, and I shifted the meeting to tuesday" he was calm but why did he choose tuesday

"Why Tuesday? Why not Monday?"

"Monday is your mother's birthday" there was a silence, he remembered my mom's birthday and I didn't, how... How did he remembered my mother's B-Day???? And there was a kind of silence in him, no jokes no extra words, no nothing... Why????

"How do you know???" his words always confused me

"Agh, remember I have eyes on your family so birthdays and all normal. Be ready for the meeting on Tuesday. " he stood up and took his coat and left without a word.
He always looked mysterious but today, I could see vulnerability in eyes, when he talked about mom's birthday.
Is there something being hidden from me???
