29. He remembers the past

YUVIKA'S POV

Hearing he has woken up after two months is more than a dream, everyday I woke up and prayed for agastya ji to wake up and talk to me and today is the day he's back in my life. I quickly ran to the hospital, and went to his room. As I entered I could see the doctor and nurses around,

"Mrs Yuvika, Agastya has woken up and is now fine. He can hear you and respond a little, talking might take a little more time." doctor told me patiently with a big smile on his face, after that everyone left and it only us.

I quickly sat beside him and held his hands,
"Aaap, Uth Gaye agastya ji. Kitni der lagadi, mere liyee do mahine, do Janam ke barabar hogaye the. Promise me that you will never leave me." I kissed his hand and forehead, to which he slowly responded with a quick nod.
Soon everyone came to the hospital to meet him and everyone was happy to see him.

"Dekho toh, baby ki godh bharai ki Khushi mei chacha bhi wapas aagaye" shreya bhabhi wiped her tears and spoke, she had been too strong, being pregnant along with so much stress is too much to handle but she did it tremendously.
"Ofc, he had to come otherwise who would sing that hum aapke hai kaun movie Wala songs ha."  Bhaiya's words made everyone laugh around.

Later that evening, bhaiya stayed with agastya ji and we all returned home.
As per everything, shreya bhabhi is seven months pregnant and Rashmi didi is eight and a half, so we soon will have three kids crying around. Even I wanted kids but agastya ji has strictly said me, no kids before I finish my studies so I am waiting for my graduation to be over to be a mommy.

TWO WEEKS LATER

Agastyaji is finally well, he's been eating well and moving too so the doctors have decided to discharge him. Today is the day he will come home, so I decided to decorate the room with pink lights and red balloons.  And then I and bhaiya would go and pick him up from hospital.

AGASTYA'S POV

I feel very disturbed, my mind keeps replaying the incident that happened in the office, even though for everyone's sake I have to act cool and fine, but little do they know that I remember everything. How dad got drunk and... And crashed with karanveer's parent's car. How karanveer's parents died, and he left for Russia. I even remember my childhood with Karanveer, how we... We were together and how we always used to compete...
It's been two months since I was bedridden, and now today I'm going to my home again. I heard that karanveer has made alot of profit for AR INDUSTRIES, even yuvika now works there sometimes, I'm proud of my babygirl. Everything seems so new and fresh, but now that I remember everything, will it change my present???? What will happen if Karanveer gets to know that I remember everything?? Will he punish me??? Will he punish papa??? I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't hear yuvika entering the room,

"Baby, where are you lost??"

"Yuvika!" I was standing near the window so I quickly went to her and hugged her, after we broke the hug she kissed me passionately and deeply. Only a few times she initiates the kisses and they are wonderful.

"Oh how I missed these lips of yours baby, I wonder how your other ones are!" she slapped my cheek softly and hid her face in my chest, my darling. "Agastyaji aap bhi na kuch bhi bolte rehte hai." she burried her face inside the crook of my neck and we both sat together for a very long while.
"Baby, tell me one thing, regarding Karanveer, I mean how has he been??"

"He, actually has changed a bit. He helped with two big deals for the AR industries, and then he even paid Papaji's loan."

"He paid papa's loan???? But why??? I.. I... Didn't ask him to pay it, I.. I.. Wanted to pay it myself I mean take a loan from him and pay it."
She kept a hand on my chest and kissed my neck,
"once you are fully fine, you can go and talk to him but for now, it's just you and me Agastyaji."

On the way back home, yuvika was beside me the whole time, hugging my arms tightly.
"Hm, jaan I'm sorry for missing our 6th month anniversary."
"Yes, I know I will punish you for that though, you know how much I cried that night, I missed you so much." she hugged me tightly, the pain could be felt through her body, (I'm sorry yuvika for hurting you so much).
"Yuvika, how about I keep my promise and take you to Paris, it's not late right now. Christmas is in ten days, and we haven't had our proper honeymoon yet. So what say biwi!?" I winked at her and she nodded softly. I kissed her head and headed back home.

The mansion was decorated beautifully, mom and bhabhi were standing in the doorway waiting for me with an aarti ki thali to welcome me.

"Mera beta, Itna der baad ghar aya hai, bhagwan tumhe lambi umar de." she kissed on my forehead and welcomed me
"Welcome chachu, hehehe welcome Agastya, I hope you are fine now." shreya bhabhi hugged me and I knelt down to touch her belly, as a gesture of showing love to the unborn one.
"Agastya come inside, you are still not fully recovered. Sit and calm down."
Papa took me to the living room and we all sat there. The maids brought coffee and tea for everyone.
"Papa, dadi dekhai nhi de rhi hai. Kaha hai Woh!??"
"Woh beta, tumhare uthne ki Khushi mei Pahad wale mandir gayi hai, Unhone mannat mangi thi."
"Oh, tab thik hai. Mujhe laga Kahi chali gayi thi."
"Agastya Ji, ap sirf rest kariye." yuvika placed a hand on my hand and rubbed it with her thumb. I smiled and nodded

Everyone had their tea and coffee peacefully,
"Papa I heard, Karanveer paid the whole loan of... Your company."

"Yes beta, I talked to him and he said he'd pay, I.... I.. Don't know what.. Uhm got him"
I could sence the unsureness of papa, he has hidden this truth for such a long time and that to with me, his own son. And what happened after that, why wasnt he sent jail? I had many questions but I wont ask them now.

AUTHOR'S POV

Two days Later Agastya decided to visit Karanveer. He entered his office where Karanveer sat like a king with a glass of beer in his hand.

"Welcome agastya, welcome. How are you now???" Agastya's jaw clenched at his happy expression, but now he could remember how they were during childhood,
"Why did you pay dad's debt, despite everything??"
"Awww, it was my wish to help your father, so I did.. Any problem???" there was a big smirk on karanveer's face, even he didn't know that Agastya's remembers everything.
"Stop this nonsense now Karanveer, I remember everything, whatever happened 12 years ago. How.... How... My.... Dad killed your.... Parents" agastya got up from his chair and began to pace around the office, the smirk on Karanveer faded and he got up from his chair too,.
"You.... You remember???? Everything????" he held Agastya's shoulder, "you fucking remember everything, how your dad, Mr Alok Raichand crashed my parents car and ran away," Karanveer had tears in his eyes, and Agastya was shocked to hear
"Karan please... Please tell me whatever happened, please karan I remember the accident portion but not the other, I don't remember anything that happened after that. Please karan" Karanveer held Agastya's shoulders tightly, "you want to know right, then listen Mr Agastya Raichand."
