Autumn Trails

5 1 1

                                            - Hari Sarnam

Daylight shrinks,
And the souls moonlit,
As I transit -
From Summer to Winter.

Hails me - dressed in,
Red, yellow and orange- rich,
The trees like -
Oak, Maple, Aspen and Beech.

Farmers into the euphoria,
Reap crops like wheat,
Relishing the chirrups,
And their soothing beat.

The morning,
Brings fog and haze,
And the evening,
Turns windy to amaze.

Large flock of birds,
The geese and ducks,
Seen fleeing,
As the cold sucks.

Dancing and singing,
Everywhere in sight,
And are the celebrations,
From Halloween to Bonfire Night.

Arriving with -
Autumn Equinox,
I leave with -
Winter Solstice.
