!Chapter 17!

"Got it?"

~Second Person POV~

"Listen! What I'm trying to say isn't about the money! What I can't accept is that you won't eat my udon!" The udon vendor from before yells. You stand by, watching with dotted eyes as Tanjiro gets yells at and reprimanded by the udon vendor.

You just calmly take a sip from the udon you placed so gently on the bench. Rina and Sora stand next to you as they also watch with dotted eyes at Tanjiro. They make a hum of confusion.

"The udon vendor is yelling at Tanjiro for not eating the udon and dropping it on the floor." You explain to your siblings. You then use your chopsticks to eat the noodles from your bowl, although it is cold now, it was all you had to fill your empty stomach.

"Look at that young lady there! She's politely eating her udon and did not drop it like you! You're so ungrateful, how dare you just drop my udon onto the floor?!" The man continues to scream into Tanjiro's face.

"And you three! Are you guys going to drop my udon too on the floor?! If you're gonna eat, take that bamboo thingie off! What's that even for?! Is it a chopstick case?" He questions as he gets all up in Rina, Sora, and Nezuko's faces.

"If that is the case, then I'd like to have two bowls of udon!" Tanjiro says confidently. "I'll also take another bowl, mine got cold." You also say.

"You sure you're gonna eat it this time?!"

"Yep!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

After a little bit, he hands you and Tanjiro your bowls. You slurp up the noodles and sip the soup calmly, but you pull the bowl away from your face as you hear aggressive slurping. You look at Tanjiro as he slurps up the noodles with great speed, as he finishes one bowl in a matter of minutes, doing the same thing with the second.

You stare at him shocked. The udon vendor also looks at him with surprise and shock as well. Even your siblings and Nezuko stare as well. It is all silent before Tanjiro speaks up, thanking the man for the meal and stating that it was quite delicious.

You slowly put the edge of the bowl on your lips again, taking another gulp of the warm soup. After a couple of minutes, you finish your meal as well. You pay the man and bow, thanking him for such delicious bowls of udon.

Tanjiro takes his box as you take yours. You turn around to leave and hold Rina and Sora's hands. Before you do leave though, you turn around to the udon vendor and wave, stating your farewell. Tanjiro follows suite, waving goodbye, but when he does this, the vendor shouts, "As long as you get that, fine! Come again!" He yells, with a not so happy expression.

When you start walking again, you look at Rina and Sora, then to Nezuko. "I'm sorry to leave you all alone like that." You say, referring to when Tanjiro and you suddenly left them due to the aura/scent of Muzan Kibutsuji.

You go forward, but you and Tanjiro get pulled back by Nezuko and your siblings, as they tug on your arm and stare at something.

"Ah." You say, as you finally spot the mint-haired boy from before waiting at a street corner. You walk forward again, tugging at your siblings this time. You reassure them that he was a friend, and that he was safe to be around.

You approach him with a smile, as he stares in disgust at you. You can sense his discomfort and hatred. Even still, you greet him with a kind gesture, "Were you waiting for us? I could've followed the aura, but...."
