lady didn't know what to do . she just cried silently. she was astonished when an elf appeared I can easily turn these grasses into strands of gold but I wil only do it in exchange for something'' said the elf. ''I have nothing to give you, Reverie said. '' I Have this necklace but it's very dear to me .it was given by my mother before she died.'' ''What would you choose then,that necklace or your father's freedom?'' The poor young lady was forced to give her most cherished possession . King Alido was shocked to see the grasses turned into strands of gold. She again brought the young lady into another room filled with grasses. ''I want you turn all these into gold by morning tomorrow, He said. The young lady cried again and just night, the elf appeared.This time he asked for Reverie's ring. The little man worked overnight. When Reverie woke up that morning, the elf was already gone but grasses were all turned into gold. The King was happy when he saw the pileas of gold in the small room. ''This time, he brought Reverie to a bigger room. ''Now if you can give me more gold out of those grasses I will make you my queen, '' King Alido promised.
