5 : Shes Gone

|| ROSS'S POV ||

My siblings and I drove into the school parking lot and I can already hear the girls and some guys, even a few teachers, screaming from outside the van.

Ratliff: now or never

Rydel: On 3

Riker 1, 2, 3.

And we push and smile through the crowd, I just can't see her, just I have seen my old friend Calum.

Ross: Hey dude, did your hair get redder?

Calum: I know you wanna know where Laura is.?

Ross: uhh yea, but I missed you a lot too.

We do our hand shake and we head to History our first class, I spoke to him yesterday, I spoke to him throughout the whole tour.

I'm just sitting in back row of my history class, I'm bored out of my mind but that's school for you, but the teacher is pretty much sleeping.

I hear a click of the door and put my he'd up to see a bunch of cheerleaders come sprinting in.

They start doing flips and calling out their names, I couldn't see their faces that well but I know all their names.

Teacher: good job girls!

We all applause them and they scream and cheer as they run to empty seats in the first row.

Calum: I am so glad it's lunch, my stomach was eating my stomach

Ross: well I know what you're having for lunch.

We walk into the cafeteria and we line up to get our food.

Calum: So what do you think of Laura now?

Ross: what?

Calum: Laura's a cheerleader, captain to be exact.

Ross: Laura Shy Marano, since when!?

Calum: let's sit down...

We grab our food and walk to a table and I'm still trying to wrap my head around my Laura, head cheerleader.

Ross: EXPLAIN!

Calum: Well Laura and me are still best friends, but after you left she flushed her blades, and started dance, she found out she's really flexible and because nobody knew her, she tried out for cheerleading, she was expected and went from a nobody to the girl every girl wants to be.

Ross: wow

I'm lost for my words, she changed and broke out of her shell.

???: Hey Calum

I look up its her, I don't know what to do, I kinda just stare at her, it probably looks really creepy.

Laura: what are you doing this weekend?

Calum: nothing

Laura: let's hang out we haven't done that in to long.

Calum: sounds awesome, it's on

Laura: bye Calum

She pecks his cheek and skips to her cheerleader friends, she didn't even look at me.

Ross: those skirts are short....

Calum: yea Laura gets checked out all the time.

I feel my mists clench and I can feel sweat building on my forehead.

Calum: you didn't notice did you?

Ross: notice what?

Calum: she obviously missed you and doesn't hate you, she's wearing that music necklace, which I don't understand why she hates music..

Ross: it's an inside thing....
