YOONGITaehyung hadn't been at school since Monday. It was Thursday, and Yoongi was overly worried. He'd tried to call the boy over and over again, but Taehyung had never responded. And, he didn't even know where the boy lived to stalk him and find him.
Yoongi was left to wait at school, and stare at his phone in his off hours, waiting for Taehyung to call.
Nothing.
"Namjoon something's very fucking wrong. Should I call the police? CPS? I don't know what to do." Yoongi paced Namjoon's living room, the boy sitting on the couch.
"Maybe it's not as bad as you think. Maybe he's...sick?" Namjoon tried to see around Yoongi, his controller clocking away in his hand. He adored Yoongi, but sometimes he thinks yoongi needs to get a life. Maybe Taehyung...left?
"No, he'd tell me if he was sick." Yoongi shook his head and continued to pace.
"Maybe he's really sick." Namjoon said distractedly.
"Oh god what if he's sick?" Yoongi cried and flipped on the couch next to Namjoon dramatically.
"I don't even know where he lives to find out."
"You seriously can't tell me you don't have a crush on him." Jimin pops up from nowhere. They'd both forgotten he was there.
"Oh, he does. Big time but—"
"Taehyung doesn't feel the same way! Oh no..." Jimin gasped, having his own realization while looking at Yoongi. "That's so sad!"
"Thanks, Jimin." Yoongi glared at him.
"I had a feeling." Jimin winks and smiles.
"So, what do I do?" Yoongi looks back at Namjoon. Namjoon thinks for a moment, clicking away at the TV. When he wins, he cheers and Jimin sends out a ring of curses.
"If you really want to talk him go into the school office and steal his address. Otherwise, leave him alone maybe you weirded him out with your blushing comment and he wants some space." Namjoon looks down at the older boy melting into the couch.
"And something could be going on in his life, Yoongi."
Yoongi sighed he knew Namjoon was right. Maybe Taehyung needed space or something but based on the bruises he'd seen the other day at the beach, it seemed to be more than that. What if that was happening right now? What would Yoongi do even if he found out where Taehyung lives?
"He's not okay."
The two look over at the blond. He looks sad. He makes eye contact with Yoongi. "I have a feeling."
"God you don't know anything Jimin! Shut up about you and your stupid feeling!" Yoongi snapped and grabbed his coat to leave.
He knew Jimin was right. It was knowing at Yoongi from the inside out.
-
"I got his address." Jimin voice drawled the next day at school, Friday.
Yoongi looked up from his desk. "What the hell, how? Why?"
"Because you look like a cat in the rain you fucking idiot. Now come on, how about tomorrow we got over to his house and find out if he's okay? At the least we can say it's for history we have a project to do." The fact that Jimin was so nonchalant about this keyed into the fact that he had no idea what was going on.
"How did you—"
"I've been storing up a lot of charm, my friend. Now, will you go with me? Or I'm going on my own, I don't care." Jimin shrugged.
"We're not friends. I'll go." Yoongi agrees.
