"Kyungsoo you left your books in class yesterday" Jongin said handing Kyungsoo's books over to him.
"Thank you I had uh... forgotten to get them after the evacuation drill..." Kyungsoo lied, knowing that he was too busy being locked up in a store cupboard to come back and get his books.
"That's ok. Luckily I grabbed them just in case you didn't come back. You kind of disappeared for a while there" Jongin said, the two sitting down in their seats.
"Uh... yeah I got a little lost. This school is really big" Kyungsoo lied again. If this conversation were to keep going Kyungsoo would run out of excuses soon.
"Yeah I understand. I used to get lost here too" Jongin admitted.
"Oh and Jongin" Kyungsoo started.
"Yes?" Jongin looked at Kyungsoo.
"You didn't need to get my books for me but thank you. I appreciate it" Kyungsoo thanked again.
"It's nothing. I didn't want anyone taking your books and drawing in them or writing hateful things in it for you to see" Jongin said looking down at the table in front of him gloomily.
"What makes you think that?" Kyungsoo asked curious about why Jongin would think like that. Although it is true that people would have stolen his books and vandalised them if Jongin hadn't taken them.
"I... I have seen it happen before when I was in Junior High. The students there weren't nice at all and the teachers did shit all about it" Jongin said angrily, scratching his nails into the desk.
Kyungsoo hesitantly grabbed Jongin's hand to prevent him from harm. "Please don't do that you'll hurt yourself" Kyungsoo said, stopping Jongin from scraping his nails on the desk.
"Sorry" Jongin half grunted under his breathe whilst looking down at Kyungsoo's hand on his own. Kyungsoo's touch helped Jongin relax. Kyungsoo was at a loss to why Jongin was acting like this. He had never seen Jongin in less than a happy mood before and it scared him a little. Kyungsoo was beginning to wonder whether Jongin also had a secret that he doesn't want to tell anyone. Like how Kyungsoo has his own secrets to hide.
"Are you doing anything after class?" Jongin suddenly asked, trying to go off topic.
"I have chorus class next. Why?" Jongin is acting a bit strange today Kyungsoo thought.
"What about after?"
"I have a free class but I plan on going home. Why do you ask?"
"Can you stay back? I want to take you somewhere where we can talk alone" Jongin asked, not taking his eyes off of Kyungsoo's hand which is still on his. Without realising Kyungsoo's thumb subconsciously started rubbing soothing circles on the back of Jongin's hand. It's like Kyungsoo's mind was making him calm Jongin down for him.
"Umm sure I guess" The sudden invitation to go somewhere alone with Jongin made Kyungsoo's heart thud against his chest. 'Why would he want to be alone with me?' Kyungsoo thought to himself. Kyungsoo couldn't decide whether this was a good or bad idea but he'll soon find out.

Kyungsoo struggled to write with his right hand. Trying to write an 'a' which looked more like a 'u' with his half numb hand.
'Why does English have to be so hard to write' I thought to myself. I eventually gave up trying to write with my right hand and switched to the left which wasn't any better but at least I could move my hand more easily.
"What's wrong with your hand? Can't you decide which one to write with?" Jongin asked jokingly noticing Kyungsoo struggling to write on the paper in front of him.
