Sup back again, finished finals two weeks ago, and took a break now we back, and as always I own nothing marvel, let's get it.

As the Avengers went into the common area Rhodey and Sam were arguing, Cap was reading the Accords with Petra looking over his shoulder looking over it, Tony was on the couch laying down with his hand over his face, and Vision, and Wanda were sitting on a couch with pietro standing near by, and Natasha sitting on a separate piece of furniture.

"Secretary Ross has a Congressional Medal of Honor which is one more than you have," Rhodey argued with Sam, their voices making Petra's enhanced hearing pick up every note of tension.

Petra leaned over Cap's shoulder, her mask's lenses adjusting as she read each line of the Accords. Her stingers kept threatening to emerge as she processed the implications. "Registration of all enhanced individuals," she murmured, fangs clicking anxiously behind her mask. "Including... biological abilities that could be classified as weapons."

Her hand unconsciously went to her wrist where her bone stingers lay dormant. Steve's heartbeat remained steady beside her, but she could sense his growing concern with each page turn.

"So let's say we agree to this thing," Sam's voice cut through her focus. "How long before they LoJack us like a bunch of common criminals?"

"A hundred and seventeen countries want to sign this," Rhodey countered. "A hundred and seventeen, Sam, and you're just like, 'No, that's cool, we got it.'"

"How long you gonna play both sides?," Sam retorted.

From her position near Cap, Petra could see everyone clearly. Vision and Wanda sat close together, the synthetic being's systems humming at a frequency that suggested deep thought. Pietro stood protectively near them, his speed-enhanced energy crackling with nervous tension. Natasha remained deceptively relaxed in her seat, but Petra could smell her concern.

"They're going to come for me first," Petra said quietly to Steve, her enhanced vision focusing on a particular paragraph. "Teenage vigilante with 'biological weapons.' They'll want to study the stingers, the fangs. Register every ability..."

"Over my dead body," Pietro muttered in Sokovian, his accent thickening with protective anger.

"I have an equation," Vision suddenly spoke up, making everyone turn.

"Oh, this will clear it up," Sam said sarcastically.

"In the eight years since Mr. Stark announced himself as Iron Man, the number of known enhanced persons has grown exponentially." Vision's synthetic voice was calm, but Petra's enhanced senses picked up Wanda's subtle tension beside him. "During the same period, the number of potentially world-ending events has risen at a commensurate rate."

"Are you saying it's our fault?" Steve asked, looking up from the Accords.

"I'm saying there may be a causality," Vision replied. "Our very strength invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. And conflict... breeds catastrophe."

"Boom" As Rhodey looked to Sam with a smug grin, thinking he had won.

After Vision's equation hung in the air, Petra's enhanced senses picked up the subtle shift in Natasha's posture as she turned toward Tony's prone form on the couch.
