Julie and the Phantoms

Chapter 4 : The talk

                 "Hey, Julie, it's okay, let's try again?", Luke offered turning to face her.
                  Julie looked up to look at him, and nodded. A tear streamed down her face, Luke moved his hand towards her face to wipe her tear. He was able to touch her face and wiped her tear, she looked at him grabbing his hand holding it.
                 "Funny relationship huh?", Luke laughed, moving closer to her.
                 "Funny relationship.", Julie agreed.
                  "Hey,", Luke moved his hand to hold her hand in her lap,"I'm sorry for storming off like that last night.."
                   "It's okay," Julie laughed.
                    Julie rembered her dance with Nick.
                     "Hey, you rember Nick?" Julie asked.
                     "Yeah why?", Luke said confused.
                     "So, during our last dance class, we were practicing and everyone was telling me how good we were and-"
                      "You like him?", Luke said letting go of her hand.
                     "No, I... I was imagineing you the entire time, but in my head there was this song, it been in my head. If I write it down do you think we could see how it sounds?" Julie held Luke's hand.
                    "Sure, why not?", Luke said smiling," Long as I get to hang with you."
                    The two of them laughed.
                    Julie scribbled down on Luke's black songwriting notebook. Luke looked down at the paper as she wrote quickly but perfectly for luke to see.

                 Julie stopped writing and placed Luke's pen down and stared at the pages.  Luke wrapped his arm around her and read the song.
              "Woah.", Luke stared at the pages re-reading it.
               Julie held Luke's hand that was resting on her shoulder, "Whatcha think?".
               "It's..amazing!", Luke jumped up, " You've got power and talent!".
                Luke started ranting on how great and amazing the song is, and then he started talking about how he loved that Julie made the song about him. Then he started getting flustered and talking with his hands realizeing the song was about him. Though Julie was zoneibg out thinking about how cute he was ranting on and on about her.
                "Jules, you alive?", Luke poked Julie in the shoulder.
                "Sorry, I was thinking about cute, I mean Luke, I mean, uhh.", Julie looked down blushing slightly.
                "Hey,",Luke grabbed Julie's chin making her look up at him, hovering in front of her face,"Speak slower, I can't hear you.", Luke said smirking.
                "I-I...uhh." Julie stood up looking up at luke, "I..."
                Luke and Julie's bodys were slightly pressed against each other, they stared into each other's eyes. Julie's finger traced Luke's biceps, while Luke placed his hands gently on her hips.
               Suddenly the garage door opens, Julies dad sticks his head in. Julie threw herself onto the couch.
              "Hey dad!", Julie said nervously.
              "Hey kiddo, it's getting late are you staying in here tonight?", Ray said looking around the room.
              "Uh, sure why not!", Julie said looking back and fourth at Like and her dad.
              " Alright, sleep well.", Ray shut the garage door, "Oh and lock the garage!"
              "Got it!", Julie nervously laughed.
               Once Ray left the garage, Julie stood back up, "Sorry 'bout that.", She said smileing.
               "It's Alright,", Luke said sitting down on the couch and Julie sitting down next to him.
               "Let's start on the song",Luke offered.
                "Yeah, Yeah that sounds good.", Julie said leaning onto Luke, slightly tired.
                Luke smiled, putting his arm around her as they fidgeted with music notes etc. Until Julie fell asleep, snoring on his side. Luke  scooted over slightly for Julie to lay down on him so she is comfortable. Luke moved julies hair out of her face and grabbed a blanket on the table, and layed it over here. He smiled as she slept and scbribed down some lyrics in his notebook in the meantime.
