Returning to the dark, a concept I
Long have dwelled 'pon but dared not I commit,
For once I did, the light I'd not see lit
'Vermore, but point there's not to point my eye
To light so dim, for if this flame of my
Is weak, why should I fight to keep it lit?
Is not it better to extinguish it?
Why fight to keep on 'live if can kill I?

But there's those who need my light too,
There's those who's flame is dim'r and need mine to
Live on, those who's flame deserves not extinguish
And need mine to grow bright, so once they do,
Once the world glows bright, that's when will true
Dark come, for I'd rather die than live in anguish
