Screams were heard everywhere in the Red Keep. Queen Aemma was on the royal bed wishing that her firstborn was finally out of her. The maesters were around her, encouraging her to push. She was exhausted and didn’t think she could do it, but suddenly, the doors opened to let her husband enter, who clearly ran there. Seeing his wife, Viserys ran toward her, kneeling beside the bed and taking her hand.

“I’m here, my love, I’m here” he said, kissing her hand multiple times.

Aemma looked at her husband with tears in her eyes.

“I don’t think I can do this Viserys” she said, a sob escaping her mouth.

“Yes, you can. You’re strong. You can do this. You’re a dragon, and dragons don’t give up” he said with love in his eyes.

She looked at him and gave him a nod. She stood up a little on her elbows, and with determination in her eyes and a powerful scream, she gave her final push. Aemma fell back on her bed, sweat and blood on her clothes as a sigh of exhaustion escaped her lips.

Then, they heard the screams of a baby everywhere in the room, and one of the maester came toward them with a big smile and a baby covered with a blanket in his arms.

“Congratulations your graces, it’s a boy” the maester said as he gave the baby to the king who had stood up when he saw him approaching.

“A boy?” The king asked with a happy smile as he looked down at the baby in his arms.

“Yes, you grace. The future king.” The maester replied with a smile.

The king didn’t reply and just turned to his wife so that she could hold the baby in her arms.

“May I ask your grace; what did you wish to name him?”

The king looked at his wife for a second and then looked up with a bright smile.
“Elaryon”

Eighteen years later

As the years passed, Aemma and Viserys started to see some changes in their son. Those changes quickly confirmed that the prince was, in fact, a princess, but with a little extra between her legs. The king was disappointed, but quickly erased that emotion, because he truly loved his daughter who was now named Elyria so, he tried again and again to conceive an heir with the queen, they conceived Rhaenyra and now, the queen was with child again so, he truly hopes that this time it’s a boy. Like Rhaenyra and Syrax, Elyria also had a dragon named Midnight. He was all black with golden wings and golden eyes. Midnight was to the astonishment of everyone bigger than Vhagar, making Elarya feared by everyone.

Elarya was coming back from riding on Midnight when she saw Syrax and her sister flying past her to the dragon keep. She chuckled à little knowing her mother and her father wouldn’t like that. She entered the red keep and immediately went to her mother’s room. She knowledge to times and opened the doors when she heard her mother’s soft voice telling her to ‘come in’. As she walked further into the room, she made an irritated face at seeing so many people around her mother, only worrying about the baby and not her mother’s well-being.

“Elyria! Come, come see me.” Her mother says happy to see her.

She sat beside her mother, giving her a small smile.

“How have you been, mother?” Elyria asked in a soft tone.

“Good, the baby is growing well” she answered, which irritated her daughter more.

“I didn’t ask how the baby was, I asked how you were, mother.” Elyria said, irritated.

“Well, it’s the same thing. The better the baby, the better the mother will be” her mother said with a weak smile as she stroked her daughter’s cheek.
