Cross's P.O.V:

It had been a while since Miss went to look for some movies to watch, she ended up finding multiple, the only problem? We had no idea which was which because they didn't have covers and they weren't labeled. So now I was walking around upstairs to stretch my legs as Miss thinks of something else to do. I pause in front of the Sans's room, hesitating before opening the door, peeking inside the room I can see Sans on his bed still. I walk in quietly and walk over, I start to think a little as I look around. That weird pink mist is occasionally being sprayed, is there a timer on it? And if so, why? The most knocks them out and keeps them asleep! So why continuously have it be sprayed if it keeps them asleep?

I'm shaken from my thoughts as I see Sans shift a little bit in his sleep, and almost immediately after? The pink mist was sprayed again, I speed walk out of the room and walk over to the Payrus's room, opening the door and looking in. Papyrus had also shifted from his spot on his bed, and that same pink mist was being sprayed as well. Wait... is, is this mist not permanent? It can wear off? I shake my skull and close the door, I had an idea I needed to check. I walk downstairs, already out of breathe. Damn, when's it get so hard to walk down a flight of stairs? Damn pregnancy, sapping all my strength.

I sigh as I walk over to Miss after catching my breathe, "Miss, can you take me to the lab?" I ask her seriously. She looks at me in surprise, "what for? That could strain you or the Soulings!" She said, her eye sockets narrowing. I sigh and cross my arms, looking up at her as I straighten up as well. I huff, "Because I think I know what to do to stop the mist." I said. Miss seems to be taken aback, "What? Are you sure? There's a steady stream of that stuff being poured into their rooms anytime they're close to waking up." She said with a slight confused tone. I pause at what she said, "...And when's you figure that out?" I ask. She tilts her skull, "Me and Lone know of the stuff so we know it's not permanent, we just don't know where in the lab it would be.

Nor do we know if they even keep it at the lab." She states. I stop to think before continuing, "Hey Miss, when you and Lone went to look around did you ever come upon Alphys?" I ask her with a tilt of my skull. She started to respond before pausing, Lone pokes her head out from the kitchen, "Actually no, we didn't find Alphys. I'm not sure why we didn't realize it but this is quite confusing." She says. Miss nods in agreement with her sister, "Yes, now that I'm thinking about it we didn't come across Alphys, not even in her lab." She states with a shake of her skull. I look out the window, "Is there anywhere else she could be?" I ask them. Lone thinks for a second before responding, "We've been to her house... but there is one place we haven't checked." Lone says, her sister picking up after her, "The Royal Garden." Miss says and looks at Lone. I feel confused at that, "Why would she be there?" I couldn't help but ask.

Lone sighs and walks out of the kitchen with stew in her hands, three bowls each, "Because from what I could find out from our Alphys back when I was interested in this kind of stuff, the mist Is made with Flowers. And the Kong has a Royal Garden, lots of Flowers, probably the kind she needs for the mist." Lone concludes as we start eating. I let that roll around in my skull as we eat, feeling energy fill me and then drain from me as the Soulings took their fill. "So you think she's there in the Royal Garden?" I ask after a beat of silence, Lone nods before continuing, "Yes, and I believe if she's there then that means she's awake. From how much dust there is it's obvious no one has been awake for years, however much mist she made before it was used wouldn't have been enough to last over multiple years, she would've needed to continue planting flowers and making the mist to keep a steady supply of it. And that timer? I dont think it's timed, I think there's cameras. I keep seeing a blinking red light in the corner of the ceilings in the bedrooms when I'm up there, she's keeping watch. There's no doubt she knows we're here, but she's probably too scared to confront us, or she knows it's too risky." Lone explains.

I wasn't sure what to think, Alphys still awake and keeping everyone asleep? Why? Did something happen? My thoughts were, as always, interrupted by someone speaking. "Let's go. We've all finished eating." Says Lone as she stands up, Miss and I doing the same, our bowls turning into smoke. Lone leads us out of the house and tothe castle. We took multiple breaks due to me quickly becoming out of breathe as we walked, eventually I ended up needing to be carried. Miss was the one holding me as we walked, and as we made it to the Royal Garden the first thing we saw was Alphys typing away on a huge computer hooked up to multiple tube's of the punk mist. The Alphys turned to face us as she heard us enter, but something was wrong, her eyes were red despite her normal outfit. She grinned and laughed, her voice more like a child's than her normal one. I saw a word glitch atop her head and it threw me for a loop as I read the word. Player. A player was controlling Alphys? But why? Is that why there was no Frisk?

"Would you look at that! Something has happened, finally something new! I was getting so bored of keeping everyone asleep." Says Alph- no, Player. Miss glares, "Why are you keeping them all asleep?" She asks, though she's demanding and not asking. "Because, I was bored! The kid was too good at fighting for control back so I went to a new target! Someone who wasn't as mentally stubborn, Alphys." Giggled the Player. Lone raised an eye ridge, "You are Alphys, right?" She says and I explain before the Player can, "No, that's a Player, or maybe it's actually a Hacker... either way, they can control Monsters and Humans." I take a deep breather before going into a long detailed explanation about them while all the Player does is giggle as they listen. Lone's expression wasn't very happy after hearing this, "then how did this Player know how to make the mist?" Lone asks. The player answered before me or Miss could respond, "Alphys keeps a book of instructions, not very hard to understand." The Player grins bigger.

Lone glares at the Player before speaking to me, "Is there any way to get rid of this Player?" She asks. I sigh, "I don't know, if there is..." I pause, knowing one of the options was that Error destroys Alphys and takes the Soul. The other was possibly to just kill Alphys even though she's just the vessel and then hope the Soul is too weak to find another. "I don't know... we might have to Kill Alphys to get to the Player..." I say slowly, thinking. Lone sighs but is interrupted by an attack that she dodges by jumping back. "Enough talking! Fight me!" The Player says with an annoyed look. I try to get to my feet but Miss walks away from Lone and the Player, setting me in the corner out of reach. "Stay here, me and Lone can deal with this." She says emotionlessly as she heads back to Lone, as soon as her and Lone are next to each other the Player attacks, wildly signing at them with a knife or Alphys attacks. This went on for a long while, fighting, dodging, and me just watching. Lone had used lots of gaster blasters to create distance between Miss and the Player.

Lone and Miss were about to kill Alphys when all of a sudden a static sound suddenly started and the ground underneath Alphys opened, blue strings shot out and wrapped around the Soul before snatching it through the portal, taking the Player with it. Alphys body slumped against the ground as it closed back up and the portal disappeared, Me, Miss, and Lone sat there quietly in shock at what just happened, "Eh?"
