I have no need for things as triVEL -er-I meant triVAL as friends.
...Some of you guys might think, "Sakura must have had loads of fun as a kindergatner! My, with her gift, there's no way she couldn't have made many many friends"...
Well, YOU'RE WRONG!
Kindergarten sucked. It sucked real bad! Allow me to explain
...
I woke up one morning, excited than I've ever been, ready for my first day of kindergarten.
I had already prepared my stuff the day before, so all I had to do now was brush, bath, dress and eat; quite the plan, don't you think?!I rushed down my breakfast like there was no tomorrow, while my poor mom cautioned me in anguish,
"Sakura! Slow down will you" she warned."But, we're gonna be late if I don't hurry" I retorted whilst stuffing food in my mouth.
"It's still pretty early dear, why don't you slow down. If you end up chocking on your food, then you'll indeed be late" my dad explained. I respect my father so very much, his words to me are as precious as gold. Why? You may ask. It's simply because, he's never been wrong about anything! At least, for as long as I've known him.
"Okay daddy." I responded, almost immediately... You can imagine how my mom felt after that.
(Now now, don't get me wrong. I love my mom as much as I do my dad, but, I respect my dad more... You get it, right?)
"Why don't you ever listen to me" mom whined
"Are you jealous?" Dad asked with a smirk. My mom just rolled her eyes to that
"Thank you for the meal" I greeted as soon as I was done eating and rushed to the door.
"Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" I chanted whilst running in a place by our entrance slash exit door.
"Geez. The school isn't running away Sakura!" My mom yelled as she gathered her purse and wore her shoes.
My dad chuckled as he watched as mom and I started heading out. He walked us out and watched as we departed
"BYE BYE DADDY" I exclaimed, waving as we walked down towards the nearest bus stop
"BYE! BE SURE TO HAVE LOTS OF FUN OKAY" He exclaimed as he waved back at us
"I WILL! AND I'LL MAKE LOADS OF FRIENDS TOO!" I said happily as we walked away.
"That's my girl" I heard my dad say before we were out of earshot, hand in hand
(I know you're thinking this is cheesy, but what else did you expect -)
.
We finally arrived, and once my mom stopped in front of the school gate, she got down to match my height, put her hands on my shoulders, and began with her lectures. Sigh...
"Sakura, remember you're here to have fun, make friends and learn; not to cause trouble, make enemies and suck. Make sure to be nice to everyone, don't start fights or get into em', answer to your teacher, be obedient..." blah blah blah.
'Honestly, mom's such a worryworth! It's not like she didn't give this same lecture weeks before I began, even just the night before today!' I thought to my self
"Mom, I'm gonna be fine. No need to worry" I said with confidence with the aim of trying to calm her. It seemed to have worked, because next she replied,
"(Sighs) Fine... Just have fun, okay?"
I was thrilled, and nodded with affirmation, a big smile planted across my face. And just when she was getting up, someone came up behind me.
