Author's Note: Just like the event of the same name in the original game, this special chapter is not directly connected to the main story timeline, so moments that have not yet happened in "Mickey's Print" may be mentioned. You'll also be able to see the relationships and interactions Yuu and Yukiko have with other characters they haven't met or interacted with yet.
Without further ado, let's get started with the chapter!
😼❄️
The sun had already set when Epel and Yukiko realized that the Magical Shift club practices had already finished and almost all the members had already left. They were so focused, they lost track of time.
Leona had also left an hour earlier, so they decided to find him to let him know that they had finished cleaning up the area and planned to call it a day.
"I don't think Leona will care if we leave without reporting, I think no one else did," Yukiko had said.
"Maybe, but when Leona sees that we just finished training, he'll see how hard we've worked and might consider us for the next match, don't you think?" Epel insisted, convinced that small gestures like this would make it easier for the strong dorm leader to recognize his worth.
"Heh. I suppose you're right," Yukiko said. Even if she wasn't so convinced about being chosen because of her magic's condition, she knew how important the club and that sport were to Epel.
If Leona had gone to take a nap, the first place to look for him would be the school's botanical garden, so they headed there immediately. It didn't take long to find him, because he was actually standing in the middle of the path, looking at the ceiling as if he were searching for something.
"Look, there he is," Epel said when he saw him and ran towards him. "Hey, Leona—mrph!"
But as soon as he reached him, Leona carelessly covered his mouth with both hands.
Stunned and annoyed, Yukiko ran towards them. "Hey! What's the big idea!?" She exclaimed.
Leona gestured for Yukiko to lower her voice. "Be quiet... I feel a strange presence," he mumbled with his guard up.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Epel whispered.
Before they could even get an answer, a bright light suddenly opened between the clouds of the darkened sky, shining over the three students through the glass ceiling.
They shielded their eyes with their hands. "What!? Why is the sky shining? I can't even open my eyes!" Epel exclaimed.
"It can't be, am I dreaming?" Leona growled in disbelief before managing to look more closely and locate the source of that light. "There's a hole above Ramshackle Dorm!"
"What!?" Yukiko exclaimed, straining to see her home. "What does that mean!?"
At the same time, Riddle and Cater were on the main street of the school, walking back to their dorm, watching the same scene in the sky with wide eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey! That light isn't normal at all. Doesn't this look like an emergency!?" Cater exclaimed, overwhelmed.
Riddle thought the same thing and frowned. If this were a meteorological phenomenon or some magical attack, he had never seen anything like it before.
"Yes... We must return to Heartslabyul and make sure the students are safe!" he said in an authoritative tone.
"You're right, let's go to the Mirror Chamber as soon as possible... Wait, what is that!?
Things seemed to become worse when nine round silhouettes came out from the hole of light.
"Something is falling from the sky...!" Riddle muttered, unable to believe his eyes.
