May woke up at the crack of dawn; 5 am, and it's mainly because she's a light sleeper, and just a little bit of noise can wake her up. Today, it was the neighbors chickens.

"Ugh, don't chickens wake people up at 6? It's barely 5 right now..." May said to herself. She was a bit annoyed because it was another perfect morning for sleeping in, but she can't go back to sleep now that she's awake.

She decided to just get up and do the things on her "Early morning list". She has a page in her journal which is a list of things to do if she wakes up too early.

She looked at the list, and decided to just watch videos on her I-Pad, so she turned it on and went onto YouTube.

Her recommended page was now full of videos of idols, as she watched a lot of choreography videos the night before.

She watched a few K-Pop contents, and after a few, she got to the group that really caught her eye; IZ*ONE.

She saw that they were pretty, talented, and was overall seems like a really fun group, so she watched more of their contents, and quickly fell in love with them more and more.

May is the type of person to read lyrics. Sometimes she would read lyrics even before listening to the song itself, which is what she did this time.

She looked up the translation of IZ*ONE's song lyrics, and she loved them, and even at 9 years old, related to a lot of them. She listened to the songs, one by one, and she quickly decided that IZ*ONE is her favorite group.

Later that day, she had nothing to do again, so her mind went back to what her parents said yesterday. She thought to herself, "Let's learn an IZ*ONE dance!"

She put on a dance tutorial of La Vie En Rose by IZ*ONE, and to her surprise, she learned it quite quickly, which is probably because she really likes the song.

She was really proud of herself, so she went downstairs to show her parents. But the problem was, her parents weren't home.

Her mom was running errands, and her dad went to his friend's wedding.

She really wanted to show someone, and figured that Mac would probably show zero interest, so she decided to show Min, as she was already a fan of some K-Pop groups.

"Jie Minny~?" May said while walking into Min's room, dragging her word in a cute way. (Note: "Jie" comes from the Chinese word Jie-Jie, which means older sister, and a lot of Thai people use that word.)

"What is it, May? I'm a bit busy with my game here..." Min said while sitting up from laying down on her bed.

"I learnt a K-Pop dance~" May said proudly.

"Wait... REALLY? OH MY GOSH, SHOW ME!!" Min said excitedly, not expecting to see May dance.

May wasn't 100% confident with dancing, but she's never really shy when it comes to her family. She turned on the music and started dancing, and even lip syncing some parts.

After May was finished dancing the entire song, Min made a proud big sister face and said, "Holy... May, you can dance... you can REALLY dance. And I'm not saying this just to hype you up... You can REALLY dance. If I didn't know you, I'd think you're part of a dance cover group or something..."

May smiled. She asked Min to record her dancing  the chorus of the song, just to confirm with herself if she's actually any good.

Min recorded her and after watching the video, May thought to herself, "Dang... I really can dance... I'm starting to get why daddy wants me to dance so much..."

May thanked Min and went back to her room to learn more choreographies. She figured that the more she knew, the better she'd get.

After her parents got home, she told them her decision; she DOES want to take dance classes.

Her parents were happy she said yes, and she was happy with her decision. She may have SPD, but she is actually really coordinated.

"I'm so lucky for being coordinated..." she thought to herself. Especially because many people, a lot being kids her age who also have SPD, struggle with coordination.

She really can't wait to start dance, and this is quite good, as usually, she isn't the type of child to be excited to start something really new.
