I arrived at Porkie John's, waving back to my older sister as she drove off.
I exhaled and attempted to look for Jennie. How was I so stupid? She was waving at me the whole time, and I couldn't see her. Once I recognized her face, and her incredibly long arm waving at me, I sheepishly smiled and jogged up to the table where she was at.
"How's Daisy flower doin'?" Jennie asked, teasing my sister's name a bit, she was giggling a little. I knew she didn't try to hide it, but I admit it. The little joke was funny, and I liked how she was almost never serious, unlike I was. It was impossible for her to answer a question that she thought of as 'funny'.
"She's doing well." I laughed a little, still remembering the times where we snuck up Daisy, and spying on her cringe texts between her friends. "So, what are we planning on doing? Looking for ghosts? That motel creeps me out a little, I'm not gonna lie." I shrugged and looked down. I swung my legs, in boredom, because we had to actually discuss a plan before we did anything. That was what turned Jennie's 'serious' mood on.
"Hmm.." Jennie thought, er, not really thought, she said it loud, but, you know what I mean. We discussed the plan later, which I thought was pretty stupid, hence we have already made a plan over call. I crossed my legs and laid back in my chair.
"When are we going now?" I exaggerated, having a tone of boredom, and tiredness in my voice. I sat back up and brought my legs up to hunch over them.
"We are actually going right now!" Jennie replied back to me, smiling while hoisting her bag up. I stood up and hoisted up my satchel too, all that planning was worth it. At least I got it to the end!
"Finally," I exaggerated that one, but for a good reason. It was always so boring when it came to planning- actually, let's not talk about it anymore, it's tiring me!

After we had walked out the store, we decided to walk around a bit, get some fresh air you know? We walked around for a bit, looking at different stores and buildings. Our town was pretty small, so we were allowed most of the time to waddle around. I forgot to eat breakfast, so I asked Jennie to stop at Cafe 447 for a quick snack
"Sure," Jennie said, shrugging. We changed the direction of our walking and headed there. We didn't have to get our GPS out, as we knew the whole town, and it's secret spots like the back of our hand.

It was a while before we arrived there. The parking lot was a little foggy, we could barely see the white streaks of the parking spots. There were a few cars parked, but they were in the back. The store's light was on, signaling that it was open. We could see a faint figure of a girl, most likely an employee, mopping the floor.
"It doesn't look like a lot of people are here." Jennie said, turning around to face me.I was following a bit behind while we were walking. I walked a little more to be even with her, still looking at the window.
"Who cares?" I said, shrugging, while raising my lips on the side, not showing any trace of carefulness. I began walking to the glass door and turned around, waving at Jennie to follow.
"Come on!" I yelled, before waving again and opening the glass door with all my might. I was pretty sure all stores' doors were like this, all heavy and stuff. I put my back to the door, holding it with the back of my shoes and spine.
Jennie rolled her eyes and slumped her shoulders, but she still came. I could tell she wanted to keep looking, but who cares? It wasn't like I was going to stay out here anyway.
