Esmeralda's POV
"We will miss you sweetheart, call us as soon as you get to Paris." my grandma says hugging me tightly. I have been staying with my grandparents in America for the last few months.
I live in Paris with my best friend Brooke. We both grew up in London but moved to Paris when we turned 21 so she could become a baker and I could become a fashion designer. Our birthdays are only a few days apart and that's how we became best friends.
I love living in Paris. I like not having to see my parents every day, we have a complicated relationship. They want me to take over the hotels but I wanted to become a fashion designer. My parents own several hotels and since I am their only child I am forced to take the hotels when my parents pass. We had a big fight before I left for Paris about a year ago and haven't really talked since.
"Say hi to that lovely boyfriend of yours." my grandfather says giving me a hug. I am very much single, I haven't had a boyfriend since I was 16 years old but my grandfather has memory problems.
"I will tell him you said hi." I say to my grandfather. I give my grandparents one last hug and take in one more breath of the cold Colorado air before I walk into the airport to go home. Once I get through security and all the other boring stuff I finally board the plane and take my seat.
I bought a first class seat since I couldn't handle a 15 hour flight sandwiched between two people I have never met. I hate flying, I always have and I always will. I take my anxiety medicine and I am ready to sleep through this entire flight when a handsome man with dark hair, strong muscles and tattoos all over his arms sits next to me.
He catches me staring at him and I turn my head away so quickly I gave myself a headache.
The plane takes off and I try my best not to look at the man next to me, instead I focus on my phone as I set up and account on a dating app I got earlier. almost immediately I got matched with a guy named Leo. I don't even realize he is the guy sitting next to me until I am zooming in on his abs and crotch and the guy next who must be Leo says,
"It looks even better in person belive me"
I choke on nothing and when I over at him he is smirking.
Oh shit I have been caught.
