Esmeralda's POV:
"W-what?" I stutter.
"You heard me." he grins.
"Well why were you looking at my phone anyway? Haven't you heard of privacy?" I say desperately trying to change the subject. He chuckles and looks deep into my eyes but I quickly break eye contact and look back at my phone.Every so often I could feel him glancing at my until we heard the flight attendant give the safety and precautions speech. After she had finished the plane began to take off. I started to feel extremely dizzy and my vision began to blur.
I felt my body fall over onto the chair next to mine and blacked out.
________
Later on in the flight I awoke to a bright cheery face smiling down at me.
"Where am I?" I mumble.
"Your safe." they said. Their face was blurry and I couldn't tell who it was.
I blinked several times and my vision cleared. It was Leo. Great.I bolted upright and tried not to blush.
"What happened?" I ask.
"You passed out." he says gently brushing a piece of hair out my face.
"Oh um, sorry I get motion sickness I guess." I say awkwardly trying to avoid the fact I fell on his lap, " how long was I out for?"
"5 hours b-"
"5 hours?!" I shout a little too loudly, people stop talking to see what the fuss was about."Keep it down will you?" I heard someone say. Leo apologizes on my behalf and gives me a look of suspicion, like I intended to be loud on purpose. Well I won't deny it.
I pull an innocent face and fake a smile at him.
I rolls his eyes and takes out a pair of airpods, rests his head back on his seat and listens to some music or something.
After a while it started to get cold. A shiver went down my spine and I wrapped my arms around my chest for warmth.
"You look cold." Leo pointed out.
"No shit Sherlock." I say sarcastically, " it is nearly Christmas after all.""Do you want my hoodie?" he asks. He doesn't even wait for an answer, he takes off his hoodie and hands it over to me. I put it on reluctantly but it is so much warmer and it matches my skirt.
______
It's getting darker and I look out the window to see the sun setting. The sunset is beautiful and almost dream like. There's pink fluffy clouds dotting the sky and little black silhouetted birds flying in different directions.
Suddenly I feel a sudden weight on my shoulders. I look around to see Leo resting his head there, he must have fallen asleep.
I stiffle a yawn and rest my head on his, only because I'm tired obviously.
