In the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts, it's dawn. Still dark, the sun barely being able to penetrate the woods and touch down to the floor with its light rays. Luckily the spot where Jason picked to brew his liquid luck in a prideful rage was on a hill top, a very nice one in fact. He's began to basically grow this area to be more of his own private potion brewing station the last few weeks. Jason was largely motivated by the fact that he wouldn't be able to make the types of potions he truly wanted to make in potions club; potions that are banned from Hogwarts.

It's become absolutely frigid out there, but if there's one thing Jason learned from his encounter with Ginny was that drinking hot things outside made you warmer. He decided on tea. He prefers hot chocolate but there's a negative association to it now due to recent events.

Lately Jason and Draco have become...something. Jason can't bring himself to think of him as his friend, mostly because he's come to realize in the last few weeks that Draco doesn't seem to have ever had any real friends. He was always followed around by cronies or people who might have gotten a sickle or two for doing him a favor, but no one he could truly be himself around. Jason was used to avoiding Draco, and that habit was hard to shake. He sometimes still wants to.

There is something Jason has complicated feelings about when it comes to Draco. As soon as he started being friendly towards Jason, it was in front of everyone. Draco comes to see Jason in the middle of Potions class, in the Great Hall, and even in a crowded Slytherin Common Room. Jason felt strangely moved by it. It was such a low bar to fulfill...but it was a bar Harry Potter wasn't able to pass at first. Jason usually pushes that thought to the side before delving into it further. Harry explained why things were the way they were at first. And Jason understood, even if it still stung.

Harry and Jason still meet up for their butterbeer sessions as well. Harry has committed to teaching Jason to truly become a master of his Firebolt. Harry says that Jason could be a pro, but Jason's landings still need a ton of work. Jason could land more decently if he tried, but falling into Harry's arms is more fun.

Last time Harry and Jason were together, he finally brought up Luna.

"So...I was waiting for you to bring it up to talk about, but it seems you won't," said Harry softly before taking a sip of his butterbeer. Jason also took a chug. It was warmed up and his second one of the night. He felt like he knew exactly where this was going.

"I'm gonna take a guess you mean me and Luna's falling out," Jason sighed. He was already starting to get a little annoyed at the thought. He was very happy to never talk about it.

"You guys were close." Harry stated.

"Yeah, and now we aren't." Jason replied back flatly.

"Why?"

"I don't know. Hey, I'm ready for more flying I think—"

"Jason, I'm being serious," Harry looks at Jason intently. Jason rolled his eyes.

"I just...don't feel like getting into it. Ever, honestly," Jason shrugged.

"I think of you both as my very dear friends. I guess I don't have to know the reason, but are you sure you can't make up?" Harry asked as he took another swig.

"I have no interest in doing that. You're plenty friends for me." Jason said with a bright smile. Harry put on a frustrated look on. Jason couldn't help but think how cute he looked like that and how amazing it was that Harry cared about him at all.

"Please think about it Jason. It's just...sad to think about is all? It feels like relationships are falling apart around me and I can't do anything about it," Harry explained. Jason looked up at the sky, an amazing maroon color as the sun sets. He sees an eagle in a tree, holding a snake in its claws.
