Peter's head turned sharply as he felt the powerful fist of his opponent connect with his cheek, sending him flying back through the air. Recovering as quickly as he could, he fired a web towards the building in front of him, only for it to be cut by one of the Goblin's razor bats. He tried twice more, only for the exact same result to occur as he continued his plummet towards the hard concrete ground below.

"Care to try that again, Wall Crawler!!" the Goblin shouted above him, another razor bat at the ready, his arm drawn back to throw. Switching tactics, Peter fired several web balls his opponent's way in rapid succession, forcing his enemy to utilize his toys against his own. Taking advantage of the distraction, he then fired a web towards a building to his right instead, his body naturally rotating to adjust to the change in direction as he pulled it tight, swinging off.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long until the Goblin was once more in hard pursuit of him once again, the same way it had been the whole time so far. Having ended up miles from Fireheart Industries, Peter had intended to turn around and go on the attack several times now, only for his arch nemesis to pull something else out of his bag of tricks or change the glider's direction so sharply that his window to strike a certain way was gone in an instant. His opponent was truly pulling out all the stops so far, not even giving Peter a second to breathe, and if he didn't find a way to change the tide of the fight soon, he might literally stop breathing altogether.

"What's the matter, Spider-Man?" the Goblin called out. "No clever jokes? No cocky one-liners!?"

Okay, THAT was it!

Sensing how close his opponent was, Peter caught himself against a flagpole sticking out from the wall of a nearby building, performing the world's fastest backflip and delivering a powerful two-footed kick square into the Goblin's chest, sending him flying off his glider. Not satisfied with that, Peter fired a web towards his opponent, pulling the two of them together.

"Nah, Gobs, I think I've just decided they'd be a waste to use on someone like you!" Peter shouted, landing back-to-back punches to his enemy's face. The Goblin struggled with him, managing to land some hits of his own as they continued their freefall. Eventually, however, the glider returned to the Halloween-inspired villain, his opponent kicking Peter off himself before landing back onto it.

"Okay, I REALLY hate that thing..." Peter thought to himself. While he'd probably just missed the Goblin pressing a button on his gauntlet to call it back, it really did seem like the glider almost had a mental link with its rider, or at least it was like the bad guy version of Captain America and his shield. He didn't let up though, firing a web and pursuing his enemy as they ascended higher into the concrete jungle once again. The Goblin then rotated the glider so that he could face Peter even as it never changed course, a smile adorning his mask.

"Come on," Peter said through gritted teeth. He was beyond sick of this guy.

His opponent fired multiple pumpkin bombs towards him, but Peter either dived between or webbed them out of the way as he pressed on, refusing to lose any ground and even willing himself a little closer to his target. He'd managed to get close enough where he almost felt he could reach out and grab the Goblin, only for his enemy to unleash still more razor bats. He tried to twist out of the way, but even his superhuman reflexes couldn't make up for how close he was combined with the Goblin's own enhanced speed, with one of the razor-sharp blades slicing his left arm.

"AAGH!!" he cried out in pain. Peter forced the pain to fuel his adrenaline in turn, however, webbing the bottom of the glider and launching himself up to the Goblin, delivering a powerful strike to his enemy's chin. Flipping in the air, he then landed on the glider, immediately grabbing his enemy and resulting in a struggle as the aerial device veered left and right, rapidly growing out of control.
