Lesson number 1: Life is never fair.
At exactly seven o'clock I accidentally hit my face to the wall when I tried to move to the right a little bit. I have this thing when I'm asleep I just can't not move. I have to move every once in a while and that morning when I turned to my right I hit the wall. That was supposed to wake me up, but I guess I just love to sleep, therefore I ignored the pain. After five minutes, though, I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I definitely don't like school very much, but after staying home for about a week I realized that I get bored when I do nothing, so that day I was slightly excited to just go to school and hopefully have some fun.
Here's the thing: I'm quite a punctual person. So I'm usually ready by 8 am when I wake up at 7.05 and take about 25 minutes to take a shower, 15 minutes to have breakfast, and 15 minutes to get dressed and every other stuff like hair, teeth, and make-up. That morning everything went as planned and it took me 20 minutes to drive to school, so when I arrived there were 10 extra minutes for me to go to my class.
I know that's a bit too much calculation for a regular morning. Ohh, which reminds me, that day my first lesson was maths.
I was on my way to the classroom where we see Ms. Sandler's repelling face every Monday morning and also have to listen to maths for a good forty minutes. My bestest friend Kiera held my arm and made me face her just before I opened the door.
"Where were you little witch?" she asked fake angry.
"Little witch? Really though?" I asked trying not to laugh.
"I am learning not to swear." she said while smiling and lightly hit my shoulder. I smiled too and said:
"You know where I was. Home. We talked almost every day Kiera."
"I know, I know. I just wanted to pretend to be a good friend once, not gonna happen again, don't worry." she said shrugging.
I scowled. "You are a good friend idiot." I said, then we both started to laugh. As you can see Kiera and I are really good friends. It's like she understands me better than anyone and I feel like I can share anything with her.
"Yeah whatever. I'll see you second period. Bye." she said and immediately disappeared. And with that I entered the classroom.
Oh my God! I totally forgot about that. As usual, the three little pigs were there. Okay I know those pigs are kinda cute, but those stupid girls were definitely not cute. Think of them as robots programmed to be annoying all the time. Two of them, Abby and Julie, had blonde hair(obviously dyed) and blue eyes. The third one, Rebecca, had light brown hair, light green eyes, and also a huge annoying smile. I don't know I just hate them so much. Especially Rebecca. Even though I never actually went up and talked to her when she first came to this school, she had always been extremely rude and irritating to me.
So, as expected, when they noticed me they all turned to me and smiled in a pesky way. Thankfully they didn't say anything and sat down quietly. With a tiny bit of relief I sat down to my desk too. A minute later I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around to see Jacob, another good friend of mine. I smiled and he asked:
"Hey, are you okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be okay?" I asked not understanding his question.
"Well, you know, cause you were sick and didn't come to school for a week?" he asked confused.
"Oh right. Yeah, no, I'm okay." I said remembering my previous week. I was really sick for about a week and had to spend my days at home lying in the couch. But then I got better on the weekend and therefore I couldn't even remember when Jacob mentioned it.
