2: "Hi, I'm [Dan.]"

Your ears were met with the sound of your alarm clock as your eyes fluttered open. You groggily sat up and glanced at your clock.

7:30.

You groaned and flopped back down onto the pillow. Why do I have to wake up so early? You asked yourself. You sighed and swung your legs out of the covers and clambered out of bed. You looked across the room to see Zoe at your computer, on Skype to what seemed to be a woman.

Not paying any attention to her, you walked over to your wardrobe and grabbed some random clothing and headed towards the bathroom, hopping into the shower.

After about 10 minutes, you exited the bathroom, fully dressed and clean. You went back into your bedroom where Zoe had finished her call and was now uploading a new video onto YouTube.

She looked up when you walked in and smiled widely at you.

"Morning!" She said to you, as you walked over and say on the bed.

"Good morning." You replied, smiling back.

You both heard your fathers voice shout up to you that breakfast was done and to get your lazy asses down there. You both giggled and stood up.

"You know, Y/N? I'd like you to meet my friends." Zoe said, out of the blue. "I think you guys would really get along well and kick off good." She finished, grinning.

You tilted your head slightly to the left and sighed.

"But most of your friends are YouTubers, aren't they?" Youa sked, nervously.

"Well, yeah. But they're still people Y/N!" She replied, laughing.

"Yeah, I guess so." You said, chuckling.

Zoe nodded and looked thoughtful for a couple of moments. After snapping out of her trance she looked at you.

"You should make a YouTube channel! I bet you'd be really popular!" She muttered, more to herself than to you.

Your eyes widened and you burst out laughing. Zoe looked at you, bewildered at your little outburst. "What?"

"Wh-what?! Me! Become a YouTuber?!" You cried, clutching your stomach.

Zoe looked at you confused.

"Well, yes! You'd be good!"

Once you had calmed down you looked at her like she absolutely bonkers.

"I can't even talk in front of 10 people! Let alone the internet!"

Zoe furrowed her brows and raised an eyebrow.

"But that's the magic of YouTube and the internet! You can't see the people your talking too!"

You sighed, giving her a 'well-no-captain-obvious!' look.

"I'm still speaking to people..." You said, your head down. Zoe sighed and smiled at you.

"Just think about it..Okay?" She asked.

You nodded smiling at her.

"Great!"

You both entered the kitchen, smelling the sizzling goodness of bacon sandwiches. Both you and Zoe went "Mmmm." in unison, sniffing the air appreciatively.

Your father laughed and pointed over to the table in the middle of the kitchen. 4 seats were placed there, one for you, your father, Zoe...and the last for your mother. But she went a long time ago. You both sat down and waited patiently for your breakfast.
