V let out a groan and flopped onto her bed. "What's wrong with you?" J said, sitting on her own bed a few feet away from her. "Ahem- what J is trying to say is that if you're okay!" N said. V looked at them both and sighed. She sat up on her bed and wrapped her wings around herself. "I'm fine." She was feeling so many emotions. "You don't seem like your fine." N said. "Want to talk about it?" That comment made V think of how horrible she used to treat him. She suppressed the urge to smack him. "No." N paused for a moment. "Well- do you want to hear what Uzi said?" His tone changed into excitement.

Her new realization of her feelings was confusing. Not like she never felt them before. The word "confession" came into her mind. Should she confess? She instantly dismissed the idea. She didn't even know if Uzi liked girls. She thought about the idea again. If she did confess, she would feel...happy? The thought was foreign to her.

Maybe she should ask N to help. If her past self was thinking this, she would think she was crazy.

J was out hunting.

"N?"

He sat on a chair busy doing whatever he was doing. She caught a glimpse of a pen and a piece of paper.

"Yes?" He turned around, facing her.

"This is a little embarrassing." V said firmly. "But...I have a question."

"Yeah?"

"Hypothetically if i liked someone...shouldiconfess-"

He chuckled. "What?"

"You heard me." She slightly bared her fangs.

"Oh."

N was no doubt recalling the dance.

"Well, it depends. It could go really well, or it could go very bad."

"I know you won't tell me who it is, but I hope it works out." He said with a smile.

V was awake. She couldn't sleep. She heard the faint snores of N. She sighed and got up. She quietly went outside. She sat down and brought her knees to her chest. She hugged them, resting her head on her knees. Her tail flicked casually.

Just then she heard the crunching of snow.

Her heart sank with dread.

She knew it wasn't N, due to how powerful the steps were.

"Can't sleep?"

V didn't answer.

"Well, I can't either. "J sat down beside her.

"You have been acting different lately."

V didn't answer, again.

"Want to tell me why?" She sounded innocent, but her eyes sparkled with amusement, and menace.

She was met with silence.

J bared her fangs. "Even if you no longer do your job, I'm still your leader."

V couldn't take it anymore.

"Leave me alone." V lashed out, quickly standing up.

J smiled at this.

"Is it about...me? Aww, I bet you still love me. You're so lovesick aren't you still?" J said in a mocking sing-song voice.

That did it.

V lunged at J with a hiss, taking out her claws and swiping it along her face.

They both fell to the ground, clawing at each other.

Each stab and slash caused searing pain, until she finally spread her wings and took off.

J didn't follow her.
