Star and Marco didn't talk at all when they got home, they just sat in their room alone. They couldn't really talk because they were too depressed. Star just looked through her spell book, and Marco just organized his things. Marco though, was really still worried about, Star. That was the first time she got hurt badly by a boy, not physically, but emotionally. Marco was debating on rather he should bother her or not. Last time he did, she rainbow blasted him, which really hurt. But they shouldn't just stay silent between each other. He made his decision, he would talk to to star, and make her talk to him, no matter what.
Marco walked over to star's room, and knocked on the door. At first there was no answer, but finally the door opened. Marco swallowed. When he saw Star, she looked so depressed. Whatever she saw that Oskar did, I want to mega narwhal blast him. He now felt angry. "Hey star," Marco said, sounding depressed, trying to hide all his anger.
"Hey, Marco,"she replied, not looking at him in the eye.
"Star, I know, your really depressed, and probably angry. But can you please tell me what happened...I want to help. Let me in, Star," he told her.
"Fine...the thing is...I..I saw Oskar kiss Jackie," she answered, but sounding like she didn't want to tell him.
Marco knew it, they were dating. No non-couple kiss. Her Oskar was gone, and his Jackie is gone. Just like that. "Star, I don't care about Jackie, I just wanted to make sure your alright. I mean, your kinda new to this. And there is a type of evil in this world."
Star scratches he head nervously," Oskar isn't evil, I was just too late."
Marco became frustrated, "Star! Stop it, he chose wrong! You weren't to late, it's never too late."
"Thanks marco, you really do know how to cheer me up," she says smiling.
"Of course I do, What do you think besties are for?"
"But..Marco..are you sure your okay. You know...about jackie. I mean, in the bathroom, I didn't want you to know about Jackie. I'm sorry though," Star apologized.
" I feel really depressed about how. She's dating Oskar now," Marco says, his head looking at the ground.
Star puts her hand gently on marco's shoulder, " She didn't realize the real person she was looking for."
"Thanks-umm....star.,behind you!!!!" Marco shouts in warning.
Star turns around quickly, and finds ludo and his monsters. "Ludo! What are you doing here?!" she asks angrily.
" For your wand of course, after her," Ludo shouts.
Then a bunch of ludo's monsters went after them. Marco got in karate form, and star used butterfly blast on the first monster attack. Marco karate chopped and kicked the chicken and lobster man. "Rainbow blast!" star shouted and blasted the three headed monster. The giraffe tried to snap at the wand, trying so that star didn't notice, but failed,and Star narwhale blasted him, and he fell against the wall of star's room.
" Would you just get that wand, you horrible monsters!!!" Ludo shouted.
More monsters went after star and Marco, and star kitten blasted them. More monsters came in, some struggling to get up. Ludo was in front. "Mega narwhal blast!!!" star shouted through the room.
The only result though was a small narwhal coming out of her wand, with a splash of rainbow. Her eyes widened, as did Marcos. Star grew a worried, concerned look. She then looked at her wand battery level and saw it was at low battery. "Oh no..," she said in worry, and shook her wand multiple times to work, but nothing happens. "Star! Where's your charger?!" Marco asked fighting off the giraffe monster. "It's in the bathroom!" Star told him.
"Well, go get it!" He told her kicking a monster in the face.
But then, man arm grabbed him up by surprise. "Marco!" Star yelled across the room.
Star wanted to help, but she didn't know how to defeat all those monsters surrounding her, Marco still trapped in man arms monster arm. Marco not being able to squeeze through. "Star, I'll handle them, you go find your charger!" Marco lied.
"Okay, but I'll be right back!" She told him.
Then she ran off. "Hey! Get back here, princess butterfly! Give me your wand," Ludo told her in anger.
But Star was already in the bathroom.
"After her!" He yelled, and the monsters ran after her.
Star though was searching for her charger in the bathroom where she last left it. Her stuff was always unorganized, there was toys, hair supplies, clothes, and weapons everywhere. She didn't know how she could find a single thing around here. Unlike Marco, who was always completely organized. They were like opposites. Star searched through her things, and Marcos things. Then she remembered that Marco kept it safely in his special cabinet, so it wouldn't get lost again, and so it wouldn't get vacuumed again from him trying to clean up my messes. She looked in the cabinet, and found her charger neatly put away next to his Medican, and soap bar. She grabbed it quickly, kicking off a few ideas of his, and plugged it into her wand. Star held up her wand in excitement, and her wand got fully charged. She unplugged it quickly and threw it on the sink, and ran out of the bathroom to help Marco. But when she exited the bathroom, the monsters stood outside, ready to attack. "There you are, Star butterfly! Give me your wand, or I will get it myself!" He threatened.
" Never," she replied with a smirk.
"After her!" Ludo shouted.
" Rainbow narwhal blast!"
Then all the monsters, including the monster that is held Marco captive, by Star's powerful wave of her power. It left a big mess in Marcos house, but at least the monsters were taken cared of. Marco, all burnt from Star's narwhal blast, stood up groaning, freed from man arm's, arm. Star laughed at Marco, who had the hair of a monkey.
"Shut up," he told her, smirking.
"Not going to happen, wild man," she answered, smirking back.
