Marco was getting scared, his heartbeat was going so fast. "Ludo, why do you want star's wand so much!? Don't you have that stick thingy?" Marco asked.
Ludo gave him a mean look," This stick thing will only work once, then I am unable to use it again...ugh! Why am I telling you these things!? What can you do any way? Your stuck in that cage, unable to break it. Don't worry though, you'll be out soon," he explained.
What? Marco thought.
Her mother and father looked at each other with worry. "Fine star, but we're coming with you!" he mother told her.
"Mom, no. I need to do this by myself. Please, it's Ludo. You don't know what he is capable of," star explained.
"Fine, but if you don't return in at least an hour or so, then we are coming after you," said her dad.
Star gave a humongous smile,
" Thanks, dad!"
She then have him and her mother a huge hug.
"Here star," her mother said, handing her the scissors.
Star grabbed the scissors and, cut through the air, and entered Ludo's layer in mewni.
Marco sat in the metal cage. Ludo was doing something while he had no escape. What did he mean by I would escape soon? Marco asked himself.
Then someone appeared. Star.
"Star? What are you doing here?"Marco asked.
"What do you think?" she asked.
"Rainbow Narwale blast-"she shouted, and she blasted the monsters guarding him away before they could move a muscle.
"Star wait, don't come near, it's a trick. Go back home!" he told her in panic.
She ran up to him on the cage, "Are you kidding, I'm getting you out of here!"
"Star wait!"
She didn't listen, she unlocked it with a spell of hers, and he was free. "Star, I told you go home! Ludo! He's after you!" he explained
"Yeah I know that, Marco. I'm not stupid."
"No, I mean he's really after-"
"Star butterfly!" Ludo's voice interrupeing him.
Star turned around and saw Ludo pointing a large glowing firey stick. Then a large blast of electric, fire came right out at star." No!" Marco shouted, and ran in front of star, like a shield.
A sharp pain hit him hard on the stomach, and he fell to the ground.
"Marco!" Star shouted.
"No!...No!No!No!" Ludo shouted in anger.
"Rainbow Dragon attack!" star shouted, and a large Dragon came right at Ludo, bigger then you can imagine.
"Ahhhhhh!!!" Ludo shouted through the air, and it hit him with a loud boom.
Star immetaly went to check Marco. His eyes were shut, lying on the ground, his hair messy, his jacket burnt, as well as his pants. "Marco...please...please wake up!" Star shouted.
There was no response. She shook him, hugged him tight, tears in her eyes. "Please..."She said silently.
The only sounds in the room were the sounds of star crying. Her safe kid was gone.
She Then took out the necklaces out of her pocket and put the ruby necklace around Marco, her face red, and puffy. She gave a weak smile. She then placed the other necklace on herself. She looked at him with tears, and Then something happend. The necklaces were glowing a bright white light. Star closed her eyes.
