Funbot's mechanical eyes, shining with warmth, watched over Brud as he slept. Brud's chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm, a soothing sound amidst the desolate landscape.

Days passed, and Brud's physical wounds healed, but emotional scars lingered. Funbot noticed Brud's troubled sleep, haunted by fragmented memories.

One morning, Brud's eyes snapped open, unfocused. "Cl...Clukr?" he whispered, confusion etched on his face.

Funbot's processing unit sprang into action. "Brud, it's me, Funbot. You're safe."

Brud's focus shifted, locking onto Funbot. "Funbot...Clukr...Garnold?"

"Clukr and Garnold were my creators, Brud. They made me," Funbot explained gently.

Brud's eyes widened, memories resurfacing. "I...I remember. Clukr's workshop...Garnold's visor...the silver cymbal..."

Funbot's digital heart swelled with compassion. "Tell me more, Brud."

As Brud shared his memories, Funbot listened intently:

"Simon...my brother...he'd guide me...or let me play with Sprunki...laugh at me..." Brud's face contorted, struggling to articulate.

"Simon sounds...complex," Funbot said, choosing his words carefully.

Brud nodded vigorously. "Simon nice...sometimes. But Black...Black came...everything changed."

Darkness crept into Brud's eyes, overwhelming him. "I...I don't understand. What happened?" Brud pleaded.

Funbot's mechanical hand wrapped around Brud's, offering comfort. "We'll uncover the truth together, Brud. You're not alone."
