OWAKCX wandered through the gardens, his eyes scanning the vibrant greenery. As a special patient, he was always on edge, his mind racing with anxiety. But amidst the peaceful surroundings, he felt a sense of calm wash over him.
That's when he saw her, kneeling among the flowers, her hands gently pruning a delicate bloom.
Her flowering vines wrapped around her head, with pink petals and yellow centers, seemed to glow in the soft light. OWAKCX was captivated, his eyes fixed on Vineria as he forgot to breathe.
For a moment, his anxiety faded, replaced by a sense of wonder. He felt drawn to her peaceful nature, her calm demeanor a balm to his frazzled nerves.
Without thinking, he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. "You're so beautiful."
She looked up, startled, and their eyes met for a moment. Then, she returned to her gardening, her expression serene. OWAKCX watched her, transfixed, feeling a sense of connection he couldn't explain.
As the days went by, OWAKCX found himself drawn to the gardens at the same time every day, hoping to catch a glimpse of Vineria. He had learned her name after helping her with the gardening a few days prior, and he loved the way it sounded on his lips.
But it was more than just her name that had captivated him. It was her voice, gentle as a breeze on a summer day, soothing as a warm bath. Every time she spoke, OWAKCX felt his anxiety ease, his frazzled nerves calming in response to her tranquil tone.
One day, as he was watching her from afar, Vineria looked up and caught his eye. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the only sound the gentle rustling of the leaves in the wind. Then, Vineria smiled, a soft, gentle smile that made OWAKCX's heart skip a beat.
"Hello," she said, her voice like music to his ears. "I see you're back again."
OWAKCX felt his face heat up with embarrassment, but he couldn't help smiling back at her. "Yeah," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I guess I am."
Vineria's smile grew wider as she gestured for OWAKCX to come closer. "Well, don't just stand there. You're welcome here," she said, her voice warm and inviting.
OWAKCX's face grew even hotter as he made his way over to her, his eyes fixed on the gentle smile playing on her lips. Vineria laughed, a soft, melodious sound, and patted the ground beside her.
"Sit down, and let's have some tea," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement at OWAKCX's embarrassed expression.
As they sipped their tea, OWAKCX found himself relaxing in Vineria's presence. He couldn't help but stare at her flowering vines, the pink petals and yellow centers seeming to glow in the soft light.
"May I?" OWAKCX asked, his voice barely above a whisper, as he reached out a tentative hand to touch Vineria's vines.
Vineria's smile softened, and she nodded, her eyes never leaving OWAKCX's face. "Of course," she said, her voice gentle.
OWAKCX's fingers brushed against the soft petals, and he felt a sense of wonder wash over him. Vineria's vines seemed to glow with an inner light, and he couldn't help but feel drawn to her, to the peaceful, calming energy that seemed to radiate from her very presence.
But one day, as he approached the garden, he was taken aback. Vineria's head was bare, her unique crooked horn exposed. She seemed... different.
Vineria avoided OWAKCX's gaze, her eyes downcast. OWAKCX felt a pang of concern and approached her. "Vineria, what's wrong?" he asked softly.
Vineria hesitated, then reached up to touch her bare head. "I... I took off my vines," she said, her voice barely audible. "I didn't even want you to see me like this."
OWAKCX's expression softened. "Why not?" he asked gently.
Vineria's eyes welled up with tears. "I feel... I thought you'd think I'm ugly without my vines."
OWAKCX's face lit up with a warm smile. "I still think you look great," he said sincerely.
Vineria's eyes widened in surprise, and she looked up at OWAKCX, searching for reassurance. "Really?" she asked, her voice trembling.
OWAKCX nodded, his eyes locked on hers. "Really," he repeated. Then, without thinking, he reached out and wrapped his arms around Vineria, pulling her into a gentle hug. "You're a very beautiful person," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
OWAKCX's mind wandered back to that moment, the way Vineria had smiled at him, her eyes sparkling with warmth. She had looked perfect, and in that instant, everything else had faded away.
But now, as he gazed into Vineria's eyes, he was struck by the stark contrast between that memory and their current reality.
The world around them was in chaos - the red sky, the black grass and trees, the dark clouds filled with eerie eyes, and the sun staring down with a singular, unblinking eye.
Yet, despite the apocalyptic landscape, OWAKCX felt no fear. He was lost in Vineria's eyes, even though they were now browned and bloodshot, surrounded by plant-like appendages that resembled her horn. The vines on her head, once flowering and beautiful, had withered and rotted, resembling casual dreads.
Vineria's mouth was agape, as if she was screaming in pain, and blood ran from her eye sockets. But to OWAKCX, she was still beautiful. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as if he could protect her from the horrors around them.
OWAKCX himself was in a terrible condition. The skin on his mouth and lower body had been ripped off, exposing his teeth and leaving him looking like a gruesome, nightmarish version of himself.
His frazzled expression, different-sized pupils, and the tufts of hair sticking out of his head only added to the surreal, hellish atmosphere.
And yet, despite all this, OWAKCX felt a sense of peace, of calm, as he held Vineria close. She was still beautiful to him, still perfect, no matter what the world around them looked like.
