Chapter 1: The Dance

It was June 9 and it was the day of the dance and two separate School District dance committees convinced the students who were going to the dance, must be at the auditorium and for middle school students must also be in the auditorium during their lunch periods. Also, it was sixth period.                                         “The dance, which is tonight, will start from seven o’ clock until nine o’ clock and I know some of you, students, like to ‘make love’,” as Mr. Dennis used his index and middle finger to point up and down.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           “So I decided to give all of you, your room keys at Holiday Inn tonight after the dance. Your date will pick you up from the buses and you will stay at Holiday Inn at Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey until tomorrow at 3:21 p.m.” Mr. Dennis told. Patrick and Nicole smiled and looked at each other. Kyle and Jessica were excited about the dance and Kyle put his left hand on Jessica’s thigh and she spinned a strand of her hair with her finger.                                                                                                                          “My wife and I will see you tonight at Villa Barone Manor. Oh! I almost forgot! All of you students must bring your luggage with each and every one of you. The bus driver will help you open the trunk of the bus and put your luggages.” Mr. Dennis reminded. Doug Kilmer raised his right hand and he questioned, “So, Mr. Dennis, what is going to be the theme for the dance?” Doug questioned with a surfer accent. He had burnt sierra hair, green eyes, and he was in twelfth grade. Doug and his girlfriend, Fiona became a couple ever since they were in the eighth grade. Fiona Felicity Hawkins has blonde hair, green eyes, she’s four weeks pregnant, and she’s also a senior. Doug and Fiona were huge fans of Punk and Glam rock. Everybody’s eyes pierced at Doug. “What?” Doug questioned. “Doug, why do you have to ask every question every time?” Kyle wondered. “I can’t help it, dude.” Doug confessed.                                                                            Two periods later, Nicole, Patrick, and others were in their Reading for Meaning class. They were working on a prediction worksheet for the novels they chose. All of the sudden, the seniors were fooling around in the hallway by making sexual moans. The class laughed.                                                                             Mrs. Clarence queried, “What’s so funny, class?” They continued moaning and the class laughed outrageously like they were on a trip to a comedy show. Mrs. Clarence had brunette straight hair, brown eyes, a rose tattoo on her left ankle, and clear glasses. She jumped off the chair and opened the door. She yelled, “GUYS, GO BACK TO YOUR CLASSES! YOU’RE GRADUATING TWO WEEKS FROM NOW, DAMMIT!” They left. Ring! The bell rung.                                                                                      “Have a splendid summer!” Mrs. Clarence exclaimed. After the eighth period bell rang, Jessica, Lindsay, and Ariana walked to Nicole, and Jessica questioned, “Hey, Nicole. What is your dress going to look like for tonight?” “My mom took a picture of me and my sisters at Rainbows.” Nicole showed the picture to the triplets. “Oh, my gosh! You guys are going to look hot for Patrick and their dates!” Lindsay exclaimed.                                                                                                 “Ariana! You got your freckles removed!” Nicole noticed. “Nicole, you noticed!” Ariana exclaimed happily.                                                                                              “My dress is dark blue because it’s Kyle’s favorite color, and it is a halter neck dress, I also have jewelry that has diamonds, including my necklace, and earrings! I’m so excited for tonight and I’m going to bring my lingerie and it’s black and white. It includes garters and fishnet tights.” Jessica was excited. Kyle walked to Jessica and he said, “I can’t wait for my surprise, my Cherry Bomb Cupcake.” Kyle enjoyed saying the nickname he gave to Jessica because her favorite song is Cherry Bomb by The Runaways. “Bye, Nicole! Bye, Patrick!”Jessica and Kyle exclaimed. “Bye, you, guys!” Nicole and Patrick exclaimed back. “Are you going to give me a surprise also?” Patrick asked. “Fuck yeah, I will!” Nicole answered and Patrick smiled at her and he put his arm around her shoulder and he kissed her cheek. After school was finished, Nicole took a quick shower and she puts on her dress, and her three siblings: Rebecca, Cheri, and Ralph were ready for the dance.                                                                                                                               Ralph’s tuxedo was black. Aunt Claudia was curling Nicole’s hair with a curling iron and left her bangs on two separate sides. “Is Patrick still going to the dance, Nicole?” Claudia queried. “Yes, Aunt Claudia.” answered Nicole. Claudia had a complexion of sweet, smooth caramel; brunette feathered hair with bangs, and high cheekbones. Louise gave Nicole her diamond dangle earrings from her wedding. Nicole puts on her black eye shadow and her favorite vanilla chap stick. Nicole was packing her clothes, her lingerie for Patrick, and her deodorant and so did Rebecca, Cheri, and Ralph. Nicole sprayed fragrance on her neck and she puts on deodorant.                                                                                                                                                                                              Louise took out her camera and took pictures of her daughters because they looked lovely in their dresses and Maurice took a picture of Ralph and Ralph looked handsome for his date. The bus approached and their four dates are on the door step and Patrick knocked on the door and Bobbi opened the door and he yelled, “Guys! Your dates are here!” Patrick and the others walked into the house. While the four of them were walking downstairs, Patrick was gazing at Nicole’s beauty. Ralph’s date, Amy Finch, was wearing a yellow spaghetti strap dress. Amy has light tan skin; she has dark brunette hair, and brown eyes. Rebecca’s and Cheri’s dates were Justin Mitchell and Chad Campbell. “Kids, may I take pictures of you,” Louise asked.                                                                                                             “Sure, Mom.” Nicole insisted and Louise took three pictures. “Kids, bring your luggages with you and make sure you guys don’t forget your stuff. Enjoy the dance and we’ll see you kids tomorrow.”Louise insisted. “Bye Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair and bye Bobbi!” Patrick, Chad, Justin, and Amy yelled. “Have fun, you guys!” Maurice and Bobbi shouted. The others put their luggages in the trunk and Patrick lets Nicole go first. “Ladies first.” Patrick replied. “Thanks, Patrick.” Nicole assisted. “You’re welcome.” Patrick said. Chad, Ralph, and Justin did the same to Cheri, Amy, and Rebecca. Kyle, Jessica, Ariana, Kevin, Lindsay, and Michael walked behind Patrick and others. Patrick sat next to Nicole and the Harrington triplets, and their dates saw Patrick and Nicole and their dates. “Can you guys believe we’re going to the dance and we are all going to Holiday Inn in New Jersey?!” Kyle was excited.                                                                                                                                                                                    “Oh, my gosh! Lindsay is right, Nicole. You and your sisters are lovely and looked nice tonight.” Jessica suggested. “Thanks, Jess.” Nicole thanked Jessica. “You’re welcome.” Jessica said.
