Another day goes by and events happening around me are still a bit boring... a bit boring away.

Sofia decided to take me with her to buy a dress instead of a suit for the upcoming conference.

"Looking for something simple please" 

I merged with the store worker as my eyes scanned all the displayed items until my eyes went beyond the store to the people walking in the mall, the children running and the parents smiling at their children's happiness, the friends bringing out the spirit of youth with their cheerful laughter, and the old people seeing the mall as any ordinary place with nothing new that would drive to spend their day in it. 

" I want that degree" 

My eyes returned to contemplate that confused Sofia, and my curiosity was around by the girl standing with a gift box wrapped in a special way. Her elegant dress and haircut made me certain that it was a birthday gift for her lover. 

"What color is May"

"Blue"

Was the only word that came out of my mouth, the girl's dress is blue, I like blue too, is your favorite color dear?

"She always chooses blue for everything, just like Shay"

Sofia was talking to the worker, so I continued to look at the girl standing there, shy and everyone who passed by her wondered:

"Is the mall a place to build relationships?"

"She looks beautiful, so where is her husband?"

"Is Christmas coming up? Too much"

Disgusting sentences came out of the eyes of those who glanced back and forth.

"Where are you? Everyone is staring at me rudely"

"Haven't you seen us yet?"

"Trina? Where the hell are you standing?"

She tried to smile to ease her nervousness but the smile came out trembling on her face.

"Put the box aside, turn around so I can see your beautiful dress"

"Infront of everyone's eyes?"

"Come on!"

She closed her eyes in surrender just to make him happy, turning to see the mocking looks on the eyes on those examining her.

"Can we just finish this show and come over?"

I grabbed the phone, the box still on the floor.

" They want to see more"

"Who are they?"

"Haven't you seen us yet?"

Her gaze, which had been directed to the ground, turned to a group of young men leaning against the wall. A young man came out from the among them, smiling at her, and the signs of shock were still on her face.

"Aren't you going to come spend some time with us?"

He approached her, causing the girl to step back, which made him roll his eyes angrily and gesture with his right hand for the girl to gather around her, and here I had to intervene.

"You have to back off or I will call security here"

The girl pulled me behind her back, making him look at me in surprise.

"Your use of her for pleasure in ridiculous, so calmly back off or I will use a method that will make you hate woman altogether.

"I'm sorry but who are you?"

He walked towards to me to see Sofia running towards me with the security men while I grabbed the collar of his disgusting shirt.

"They want to assault her"

I signaled for the men to drag the boys out of the mall. I turned to look for the girl, only to find her gone , leaving the black box behind.

"Three years have passed and this is the fourth time I celebrate your birthday. Thank you for being in my life. Happy birthday, dear Nicolas.

I read the message and Sofia looked at me, wondering if my imagination was right . I gave her the paper and looked for the nearest chair to sit on.

It is painful to be let down by a loved one who used to contain your fears and provide you with security instead.

She now feels like a warrior who has been of his armor of reassurance and is expected to fight without protection.
