Keith was scared and angry, he had almost lost so many people during the war and now the nightmare is back. Being a hero is complicated but Keith wanted to help in everyway, he had to. he made up his mind. "get the drones to look around the city. i'll get Voltron ready." Keith said to the commander. Keith burst into the control room to find everyone there, including Lance. "what are you guys doing?" Keith asked, Hunk looks like he's about to cry. "we can't reach the castle of lions." Keith's eyebrows furrowed. "we don't need to." He said while grabbing Lance pulling him to the side. "what are you doing?" Lance asked mad. Keith turned around looking at him with sad eyes. Lance melted. "this probably won't work." Keith said looking down. "what won't?" Lance said as he rubbed circles on Keith's back. "i'm going back to the Blades to help look for the Castle." Keith whispered. Lances eyes widened. "what? no!" He said. "you can't." "i have to." Keith said looking into the taller boy's eyes. "it's the only way i can get to them and get them here." Keith was on the verge of tears. he didn't want to leave but he had to do something. "i'm coming with you." Lance said. "no. you can't, the team needs you." Keith said shocked by Lance's words. " and you are apart of the team." Lance said making up his mind. "Lance.." "no." Lance was sure. "okay, fine." Keith said giving in, Lance smiled. "when are we leaving?" Keith sighed. "tomorrow morning." He said regretting his words. "okay." Lance said dragging Keith back to the rest of the team. " me and Keith are leaving with the Blades tomorrow." Lance said. "what?" Shiro said shocked. "why- "it's the only way we can get the castle of lions here." Keith said firmly. "why don't we all just go with you?" Pidge and Hunk asked. "no, the Garrison needs you guys." Lance said. "Fine." Shiro gave in. "you can go."
