Chapter 3: Dance Practice

During one tutoring session, Lisa insisted she couldn't focus without moving. Before Jennie could protest, Lisa grabbed her hand and dragged her to the dance studio. The room was a whirlwind of mirrors and polished floors, and Jennie felt completely out of place.

Lisa moved with effortless grace, her body flowing with the music as if she were born to dance. Her every step was a blend of power and elegance, her expression one of pure focus. Jennie sat on the floor, her notebook forgotten as she watched in awe. Lisa movements were mesmerizing, each turn and leap more captivating than the last.

"Like what you see?" Lisa teased, catching Jennie wide-eyed stare in the mirror. Jennie spluttered, her cheeks turning crimson.

"It's... impressive," Jennie admitted, looking away. Lisa laughed, a genuine sound that caught Jennie off guard.

"Come on," Lisa said, offering her hand. "Let me teach you."

Jennie hesitated but eventually stood. Lisa guided her through a few basic steps, her hands steadying Jennie whenever she stumbled. Clumsy and awkward, Jennie tripped over her own feet more than once, but Lisa laughter was warm, not mocking. "Relax," Lisa said, her hands firm on Jennie shoulders. "You're too tense."

For the first time, Jennie felt like Lisa wasn't just the untouchable queen bee. She was a girl who loved to dance and wanted to share that passion. The divide between them seemed a little smaller than it was going be .
