"Why is someone watching us?" My body shifted on the folded bed sheets. Kendall's eyes flickered on the french doors that looked out onto our front lawn. His whole body turned towards the pane of glass missing. The pupils of his eyes darted across the lawn that was filled in by the shadows. "Why would anyone want to watch us?"

Kendall and I were a normal couple despite Kendall's chosen career. At first being a public interest was difficult and strange, people called your name wheree ever you go and they take your pictures to make up lies and fantasies but you get used to it and being watched was a feeling I thought I'd got used to.

"Someone knows." That's all he could whisper.

All I could do was look at him. Was he crazy? This wasn't like Kendall. He was that laid-back, chilled and never worried about anybody's views of him. By one turn of events he had flipped- literally! I could have easily ran out on this crazy person but as they say, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.

"Like the paparazzi?" I said harshly despite the early hours of the morning. It was then that Kendall grabbed his jacket to cover his bare upper body and slipped it on. It tugged around his snug body as he walked towards the open door leading to our grand staircase. Before leaving he checked his face in the mirror hanging on the door of our closet and ruffled his hair. "Far from it!"

That's when he left. Just like that, he walked out the bedroom door and down the stairs. The sound of the door slamming echoed around the house that sat lonely in the edge of the city, I waited for the sound of his car starting but it never came. Instead I heard Kendall muttering to himself as he walked across the drive way. I heard his footsteps across the stones of our drive as he stepped lightly.

I felt the urge to look, to spy on him. So I got up from our bed and stepped our the machine splattered over the cream carpet- an added mix of the stains already forming. I stood in the moonlight and looked out onto the driveway where Kendall stood looking at the security gate that kept us in and others out. "Kendall," I shouted down from the french doors that lead out to a balcony overlooking the ground of our house. A harsh breeze washed across my bare legs "Come inside, it's cold!"

I wrapped my cardigan, resting on the chair tucked under my dressing table, across my body and my legs shook violently underneath me. I thought Kendall was crazy- I believed he was crazy but un be known to me, he was planning our escape
