27 - the final talk

Bang chan gasps as he sees Jeongin, then he looks away and covers his face shyly.
"What the– what are THEY doin' here?!" Chan yells in a low voice.
"Wait what??" Han gasps, acting surprised.
"What a coincidence" Changbin says questioning and surprised.
"That's your moment, u can talk to him!!" Han smirks widely.
"Mmh i dunno..." Chan hesitates.

"What the fuck?!" Jeongin mumbles as he sees Bang chan.
Hyunjin acts dramatic and shocked, while Minho gives a death stare at the three boys who were sitting at the table.
"Imma go there and punch that asshole" Minho says angrily, referring to Bang Chan.
"Wait no!" Hyunjin yells in a low voice, grabbing Minho's wrists and holding them tight, making sure to hold him still.
"Minho that's why i didn't want to tell you what happened" Jeongin giggles a bit and roll his eyes, because deep down he already knew that Minho would have got angry knowing what Chan did. But Jeongin still told him everything that happened and as expected Minho is angry now and he wanna punch Chan.
"Then go there and punch him yourself!" Minho says growling.
"No one will punch no one, let's calm down" Hyunjin sighs "Why don't you go there and talk to him, like a normal person?"
"Since when Jeongin is normal?" Minho rolls his eyes.
Hyunjin gives Minho a death stare, and then he looks back at Jeongin, who has his eyes glued on the ground while biting nervously his lips.
"Mhmh, I should. But i'm scared" Jeongin mumbles.
"Of what?"
"That he doesn't feel the same" Jeongin blushes.
"Jeongin, if he doesn't it's not the end of the world, there are many other guys ready to love you out there!" Hyunjin smiles sweetly at him.
"And if you don't talk to him you'll never know" Minho says softly at him, as he calms down and decide to actually help his friend. Hyunjin and Minho looks at each others smiling, while Jeongin looks at Chan, who was still hiding from his sight.
Jeongin takes a deep breath and choose the best thing to do, putting his ego aside.
"Follow me and play along, please" Jeongin says to his two friends, who absolutely nod and follow him.

"Look who's here" Jeongin says in a sarcastic and funny voice, as he stands in front of the table where there are sitting Bang chan, Jisung and Changbin. Behind Jeongin there are Hyunjin and Minho, the first one with a concerned face while the second one gives a death stare at Chan, who was staring nervously and them.
"Hey" Chan mumbles, shaking his leg anxious.
He didn't expect Jeongin to make the first step.
"Hii what u doing here?" Hyunjin says friendly, trying to make the mood less awkward.
"Nothing much, what about ya?" Jisung says smiling proudly at Hyunjin, as his eyes fell on Minho.
"Same" Hyunjin says chuckling awkwardly.
Chan takes a deep breath and stands up, as he takes the courage to take the big step.
"Can we talk outside?" Chan asks Jeongin shyly.
"Mhmh" Jeongin says in a cold way, which makes Chan get angry.
They walk outside the ice cream shop, as the other boys look at each other surprised.
"Arggh i wanna listen!!" Hyunjin yells desperately curious.
"Same here!" Changbin sighs.
"Come with me" Hyunjin says walking towards a table close to the entrance as Changbin follows him like a puppy. They sit there, trying to listen and watch Jeongin and Chan from the open door of the shop.
Minho rolls his eyes and looks annoyed, as Jisung shakes his leg nervously, cursing his friends for leaving him alone with Minho.
Minho realises he's not alone and he looks down at Jisung, who was still sitting at the table.
"On instagram u act as if we're friends and now u don't even say hi?" Minho teases him, with his usual cold expression.
"Huh, yeah, hum...Hi?" Jisung mumbles shyly, as he looks down.
"Pfft–" Minho scoffs, making Han nervous.
Then Minho sits down on the chair in front of Jisung, and he stares at Hyunjin and Changbin.
There is an awkward silence in the room, as Jisung tries not to freak out: he doesn't understand why he gets so nervous and shy around Minho, maybe it's because he's so cold and he doesn't show his emotions, but he also wonders why he feels so interested in that cold ass guy.
"Since we're here, should we– eat ice cream?" Jisung asks shyly.
"Do what u want" Minho says not even looking at him.
"Don't you want ice cream?" Jisung hesitate.
"Mh okay" Minho stands up and rolls his eyes, ready to go order his ice cream.
"Wait..can you take one for me too?" Jisung says shyly, holding his money in his hand.
Minho gives him a death stare.
"Which ice cream do you want?" Minho asks coldly.
"Just chocolate, thanks!" Jisung blushes a bit "Here's the mon–" he tries to give Minho his money for the ice cream, but the cold guy walks away without listening to him.
Jisung sighs overwhelmed by the situation, wondering what Jeongin and Chan are up to.

Minho comes back, giving him his chocolate ice cream, while sitting and holding in his hands his vanilla one.
"Thanks, take the money" Jisung says, putting his money on the table, Minho shakes his head.
"No worry" Minho eats unbothered, while Jisung can't believe he just offered him an ice cream.
"No really, accept it please" Jisung insists.
"It's just an ice cream, who cares" Minho shrugs, keeping his serious face on.
"Hum...if you say so– thank you" Jisung says genuinely, with red cheeks as he eats his ice cream and gets flustered thinking about how sweet Minho has been.

Chan leans on the wall behind him, as Jeongin stares up and down at him.
"Are you tryna act bratty?" Chan asks him, in a challenging tone.
"Uh? not at all" Jeongin says raising his eyebrows "You wanna talk, so i'm listening".
"Right, then: we both know it's weird how we've been acting lately, it's obvious something is off. I'm sorry if i made something that upsets you, but the last time we texted you've been really cold and honestly that hurt me" Chan says genuinely, as he tries not to freak out.
"Chan, i'm sorry, but to be honest you hurt me too. Actually i was interested in you and we also had a sort of date, but then i found out you had a girlfriend before, and that upset me. I know you can be bi or whatever, but it still triggered me because i understood how i idealised everything without being sure of what we were" Jeongin opens up, all the confidence he had before disappearing as he tried to express how he feels.
"Jeongin I–"
"No, it's not your fault, i'm so sorry for being so fragile. I swear i hate showing you how vulnerable and insecure i am. And i'm so sorry for telling you that...y'know– there had been nothing between us" Jeongin sighs and gets teary eyes, as Chan starts worrying about him.
"Hey hey, it's okay! you don't have to feel ashamed of looking vulnerable in front of me, it's fine i swear. To be honest i freaked out because i really like you, and all of sudden i thought you hated me. But now you don't have to justify yourself for what happened, because it's also my fault that i haven't been clear with you" Chan says as he walks closer to Jeongin "I'm gay. And i like you so much. So if you give me a chance i'll make things clearer between us"
Jeongin wides his eyes and blushes, as he feels a big weight on his chest disappearing.
Chan leans closer to him and grabs his waits, as Jeongin flustered.
"Will you forgive me?" Chan asks him with a soft smile, as his gentle touch makes Jeongin blush.
"Uhmm, i'll think about it" Jeongin says in a sarcastic tone, as he chuckles shyly.
"Shit, you're so pretty" Chan whispers, as he leans closer and kiss slowly Jeongin's lips, who wides his eyes in shock, but then embrace the moment and kiss him back harder.

"OMG" Hyunjin and Changbin yell, spying on them from afar. They chuckle and scream as they call Minho and Jisung. The two boys, who finished their ice creams in silence, walks towards the other two who were literally celebrating the moment.
As Jisung and Minho saw what happened, Minho smiled a bit and Jisung started jumping and hugging Hyunjin.
As Minho glanced at Jisung, his smirk disappeared, but he got lost in Jisung's laugh: he wasn't thinking at anything at all, he just couldn't get his eyes off the cute little squirrel.
